But at least she is being responsible about her poor decision. Would you rather her abort and kill her child? No. My mom got pregnant with my brother at 16 and gave birth to him at 17. Then had me at 18. Yes, we were both mistakes but she took responsibility for her actions and i can honestly say my parents were better than most parents i have ever seen. They have been happily married for 21 years now. Im 19 and my brother is 21. We both turned out just fine. So why dont you guys lose your holier than thou attitude and leave her alone.

64. I don't think the public really has any say in how she lives her life. She just became a statistic of american teenage girls. This really isn't so horrible, it's actually quite common. But then again...to you people, Hollywood is america. You don't realize theres a whole country out there beyond your city limits. Give the girl a break, at least Casey didn't leave her and is sticking by her in this tough time. This is just a bump in the road for her, it is not the end of her life.

65. So why is it so bad she's pregnant at 17? She has a career and is able to provide for her child instead of living off welfare like some people! I was pregnant at 17 and am now 25 but my life isn't screwed up, I have a career and I'm married to my childs father (not that it necessarly matters) but I'm just saying that just because she's young doesn't mean she's can't manage to take care of a child...cause I did! Granted a lot of younger girls who have kids are irresponsible, some of the girls I went to school with and had kids don't have custody of them anymore and thats so sad but we shouldn't put all teen mothers into the catagory of "skanky, slutty, her life is ruined...etc. I have yet to see a pic of Jamie Spears out partying it up while pregnant so until then I'm on her side.

70. My question is: how does a young TV star who is only 16 have the opportunity to go out spend time with a guy and get pregnant. Wasn't her mother around supervising her? She is not an adult and one of the parents should have been watching her. I have a 16 year old boy and I know where he is all the time and we have had the "talk" about caring about his future before girls. Especially when you are a tv star with young girls idolizing her. Too bad her mom did not have that same conversation with her daughter Jamie. Sorry I have to blame the parents more than I blame this child. If you are a mom with any kind of morality you know what I mean.

75. o.k #1 your a flat out ass hole, get over yourself, and get some manners. this girl is doing the right thing. she looks fine, how does wearing shorts and a t-shirt make someone look low class and skanky??? why is her fiance a redneck? is it because he doesn't dress metro sexual and look like he cares more about what he looks like than most women do?? personally i like for men to look like men. i think he is a very cute boy, and i wish them both the best of luck in their future.
