I have seen your stupid story on other websites. It gets old and if you want to make up a story, make a believable one. You may end up going to jail if you keep making up stories like the one who made up a story regarding Clay Aiken. Thanksfully, Clay forgave him and the guy confessed his wrongdoing. He said he did because of jealousy. So, watch out your mouth.

Do more research on David. He never had a recording contract for CD. They planned to make one right after winning at Star Search. But vocal paralysis prevented him from making a CD. He really overcame obstacles because he just loves to sing. I don't understand why people like you never see the truth. Have you ever seen really humble persons ? As to his dad, they have a normal father son relationship just like my relationship with my dad. Everyone who knows David knows their loving relationship. I don't know why this video is such a big deal. To me, it is a middle school student singing a song at school. Visit rickey.org and watch the American Idol video clip on the interview. He never said he just discovered it.

168. Give it a rest... He never said he didn't do the song before, he just said he had it narrowed down to a few and then explained his choice. How do you get from that that he "made it seem like he just found the song"? Maybe he had done all the songs on his short list before, and if he did... so what? No rule against that is there?

I guess if you can't criticize his singing you have to find some other way to attack. This is what your readers/viewers have a sick taste for... some else's demise isn't it. Shame on you for making this an issue and shame on those that would then dogpile on him as a result.

Let the kid alone. Really... What's wrong with you people?

171. Where in the AI rules does it say you can't use a song that you have sang before. When you are competing in a competition like AI you are going to pull out all the stops. David A is incredible and you will all be eating your words when he becomes the next AI. I hope that his first of many albus has "Angels" on it. it is sure to make it to the top of the charts its first week out.

173. I am not a tween girl...I'm 41. And I picked David Archuleta to win when there were 24 contestants. I haven't changed my mind yet. Each week, he impresses me. His inhales do not bother me. The fact that he overcame vocal paralysis is quite inspiring. But most of all, he is unique, fresh, and VERY humbled by the judges' praise. Yes, he has sung in his church, his school, Star Search, etc.... but the is American Idol, and it is the BIG TIME. I also like Jason Castro, for the same reason, he is unique. David Cook is talented, but he's the one who sings covers of covers, and gets the praise for "taking a risk." All of the girls are okay at best.
DAVID ARCHULETA WILL BE THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL...GET OVER IT.

David Cook is my favorite to WIN. He does rock. Rockers sell ton's of CD's. He can really make a song his own. Which nobody else can really do as well as him. He just might me another Daughtry. Keep Rockin David Cook......

179. David Cook is going to take it all!!!! Wait and see. He is so much more talented He is a performer, he can really rearange the music to suit him the most. He really go out of his comfort zone. HE GET MY VOTE...I don't hate Archuleta just think he is not near as good a COOK. David Archuleta is a singer that is it. He has a lot to learn on performing. For 17 he is doing GREAT.

Heck, last week, Randy was ready to sign him NOW. LOL
