78. Man you guys are really reaching with this one. He clearly NEVER even implied that he had just FOUND the song - he said he had a few to choose from. Plus you know perfectly well the show makes them do all that for the clip - he probably planned on singing it for months. And all his real fans have seen those videos a thousand times, so why don't you try to find a REAL story somewhere. You know there is just no dirt on the kid so you have to try to make it up. Shame shame shame on YOU.

80. Too bad Robbie Williams couldn't have gotten a little exposure by them mentioning his name as the original singer (or did they and I missed it?) Please correct me if I am wrong. Everyone else got a nod they all said this is a Queen song, or a Carol King song, etc. Someone really does not want Robbie to get any American exposure. Strange. I bet if it was a Justin Timberlake song they would have mentioned it.

83. DUH!! Hasn't ANYONE ELSE noticed that this kid has a lisp??? It's driving me nuts to hear him when he talks...makes me think of those Donald Sutherland commercials or Babwa Wawa....and what about newscasters like Tom Brokaw? The airwaves seem full of lisping folks and it seems (to me) not to be against lispers, but it seems as tho speaking CLEARLY would be a prerequsite for holding a microphone!!
Listen to him next time, and see if you don't agree...reminds me of a three year old begging for a lollipop...and in that goofy grin...that's a "momma, ain't I cute?" face, isn't it? Well, cute don't cut it, grow into a MAN for a few YEARS...maybe have some whiskers to shave off, get some speech therapy, and then we'll see what's left...until then ARCHULETA please go away and lease the "ballads" to real men!!!

This does make it appear he was unfamiliar with it. I have no problem with the contestants singing a song they are comfortable with, but do have a problem when they pretend they have never heard of nor performed it before.

Not a fan, but seems like a nice kid.

86. UGGG .... I liked this kid at the beginning but his "aw shucks" routine has run it's course for me and now he's just plain irritating. Even comes across as phony considering he acts like this is all new to him when we know he's been on Star Search and flown all over the globe to sing at different events. Can you say PROFESSIONAL? Of course, that's 99% of the contestants this year but the rest of them don't act like they were born yesterday.

88. There is a lot of hated generated here by TMZ. It's nonstop hate. I honestly think people are trying to come up with the most clever lines to outdo one another in poking fun at David.

One thing for sure, Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood will probably showcase this bogus story.

89. WHY pick on this kid? He's just a kid! He has AMAZING (natural) talent and will have no problem making a career out of his talent. I can't believe how many negative people there are on this crappy website; but I guess negativity inspires negativity. Leave the kid alone; he's more talented than any of you. Why don't you people go on national television (on the number 1 show on television, at that) in front of millions of people (with a father like Macauly Culkin's watching you from the side of the stage) and try to act naturally. Maybe he's shy. Leave him alone. I think he's tremendous.

90. He never said that he just found this song but if he did who cares. For those few that think that this kid has a "decent" voice or that he cant sing at all, clean the wax out. This kid has a superb voice and he shows alot of class on the show. LIke it or not it wil come down to him and Cook in the final two. Also I think that its time that Ms Ireland with the nasty looking tattoo went home.
