Lets Get This Party Started
Brad's Rent Offer is the Pitts?

Brad Pitt wanted to rent a resort villa in Texas during his most recent film shoot – but at a 95% discount to the usual price.

Believe it or not, MSNBC reports that Pitt's peeps showed up at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort near Austin awhile back, and wanted to rent a house near the property – for $3,000. That's for a month, not per day, folks. The hotel, naturally, balked.

But there's a reason for the low-low-ball offer: Pitt was filming "Tree of Life," an indie film with a tiny budget. Pitt is replacing Heath Ledger in the movie.

Rosie Won't Bury the Hassell-hatchet

Almost a year later, and Rosie O'Donnell still wants to strangle the living shizzle out of Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

Bitter much? Ro was grousing about "The View" anew on Martha Stewart's show yesterday. "I tried my best but it's hard for me when I'm not the boss. There was people there telling me what to do. There was a little Republican who scared me."

E, it should be noted, is much littler than Ro, and resolutely not scary.

Sex and the Sitting at Separate Tables?

Everyone wants to believe that the new "Sex and the City" movie brought the four stars closer together.

Maybe not: Rush & Molloy report that at a New York gala Monday night, SJP was very conspicuously not at the same table with Kim Cattrall, Kristin ... and yadda yadda. Anyway, they were very kissy and squeally for the shooters, but they had to sit apart during the dinner.

Event organizers says that there's no rift, just a quirk because SJP was giving an award to Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes and thus sat at his table.

Party Favors: Mary Louise Parker Breaks Off Engagement ... Bono Unloads CPW Pad, Finally ... Naughty by Nature Still Naughty

Mary Louise Parker – "Weeds," "Dead Man's Cell Phone" – has split from her fiancé Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The on-off pair had been dating since 2006. ... Bono, reports the New York Post, has sold his Central Park West apartment for $4.9 million – a considerable discount to his $5.5 mil asking price. He bought his current pad in the San Remo for $14.9 million from Apple's Steve Jobs. ... Absinthe resurrected Naughty by Nature the other night at the Palms' Fantasy Towers. After a few shots of Le Tourment, the guys got up to do a surprise gig at the Big Sleepover.

31. Any publicity is better than no publicity for Rosie. So if she keeps bad mouthing people and stirring up the past...and we keep reading about it, she's right up there where she wants to be. She knows how to work the media.

32. "She can have that opinion too"..... I find it very interesting that you equate a "black woman" being taken more serious than a "white woman" with making this country the bottom of the pole...I bet you didn't have a problem when it was the other way around.... and somehow if Hillary Clinton was ahead in the delegate count and Florida and Michigan favored Obama....she wouldn't have a problem with counting those States...come on...of course she would! She has already shown in the beginning of the campaign that she didn't care about those States.... and not until it became obvious that she needed the states...did she start declaring the "unjust " ways of the Obama camp! Whatever!! This country is going to the bottom of the barrel because of the NUT that's running it!!!!

33. Dear Rosie,
Get over it and move on....you'll live longer

34. Rosie summed up the entire problem when she admitted "it's hard for me when I'm not the boss".

She was not in charge. Welcome to real life, Ro.

36. Um, TMZ, Rosie was probably talking about Bill Gedde. He was the one who scared her. If she was talking about Elisabeth, it was a joke. Might shock you to know this, but Rosie is a comedian and comedians exaggerate for the sake of humor.

PS: Why do you allow such offensive comments like #12? If somebody wants to trash a celebrity, okay. But trashing a whole group of people like gays? TMZ should be more responsible than that.

37. Rosie go choke on a corn dog. That would be a big favor to us all. Fat pig.

38. "There was a little Republican who scared me."

I'm no Rosie fan, but that Elisabeth girl is scary, vapid, and incredibly annoying.

39. re- Posted at 10:14AM on Apr 9th 2008 by She can have her opinion too

I am not saying ROSIE is the next president, and I am certainly not saying she is always right...but in this particular article in the context it was discussed.... there is absolute credence in what Rosie has stated.

Elisabeth often times spouts off at things she has no education about, then presents it as factual instead of first finding out and THEN discussing it. As I said...she actually is against the birth control pill and believes it is equivalent to abortion. The reason this point is so unbelievable is that The Pill does not "kill" anything. It prevents pregnancy but not by interruption of cellular division.

There MAY be legitimate reason to have "stormed" that texas compound but so far the interviews have yielded NO evidence that this is true. And I am sorry but there IS something to burden of proof and due process. Every day it is getting more and more bastardized. I realize MANY people have been sexually abused in their life but you cannot also allow people to simply invade lives and homes when there is no evidence but a phone call that was not even traced to establish the origin.

And the truth is that MANY times people use places like protective services because they dont LIKE their neighbors. I personally have witnessed a fight in my neighborhood growing up between two families that tortured each other with CPS and it was shocking and upsetting to the children.

The politicial race is a nightmare. The bending of the constitution is a nightmare.

YES everyone is entitled to their OPINION but then PRESENT it as opinion, not as FACT. When you are in the position of someone like Elisabeth, and you say things that are UNTRUE the least you can do is say this is my OPINION.

And that is where Rosie DOES have it right... at least she does always say this is my opinion based on the research I have done.

Thats my point. OPINIONS are fine but present as such.

40. Brooklyn lillies,
What lawn have you been smoking? Rosie is the perfect example of bombastic righteousness who presents all her opinions as fact. Good example, the World Trade Center was an inside job and there's not way metal can't melt or collapse....please, be fare and balanced.

41. Fat Pig Rosie is as nutty as a fruitcake. She is so jealous of Elizabeth it has made her dislushional. Wasn't she supposed to get some mental counseling when she was fired from The View? Children's Services should look in on her children. Hope they are not as wacky as Rosie. She's a Nutcase if there ever was one ! Poor thing !

Posted at 4:05PM on Apr 9th 2008 by Go Away, Rosie

42. I think it's hilarious that little ole elizabeth scare everyone...get a backbone

Posted at 4:05PM on Apr 9th 2008 by TBA

43. Let me get this straight - Rosie can rant on and on about her liberal views but when Elizabeth gives the conservative side, Rosie starts bellowing like a bull? There is something deeply disturbing about Rosie. She belongs in a Psycho Ward. How and why does her wife put up with that Sick-o. It is so obvious that ugly Rosie is so jealous of Elizabeth.

Posted at 4:17PM on Apr 9th 2008 by G.G.

44. I'm just grateful Elizabeth's the one who ran psycho Rosie out of the public eye...

Posted at 4:43PM on Apr 9th 2008 by Rosie is a Mental Case

45. I feel sorry for poor, pathetic Rosie. It's apparent she wants attention - any attention - so she makes up dumb as a rock statements. I think a good Shrink could help her. She's so stupid and full of herself, she will probably never get help, though.

Posted at 4:45PM on Apr 9th 2008 by Rosie needs a good Shrink
