93. Artie has been a great addition to the show! We love Artie! If you are a true listener of the show
then you understand Artie and his frustrations. His just happen to happen on air. He was talking a long time
ago about possibly leaving, this is nothing new to Stern Fans!

I hope Artie gets help if he is having problems again. He is so funny and really ads to the show. To those who left Stern b/c of Artie, were not real fans to begin with.

94. Let me try to explain my take. Artie is a bully. I don't think he is evil. He's just a bully. And he has decided that the only way to be funny is to live up to some Jersey Low Life - Fat guy - Out of control persona. The thing about Stern Show ( and I have listened daily for 20 years) it has become the "emperor's new clothes show" that's the story of the emperor who get conned into buying a suit made out of invisible thread and all his subjects are to cowardly to tell him he's naked. That's what the show has become. When Howard now completely out of touch with reality since he's worth almost a billion dollars tries to act and act it like the common carry a bucket little guy he misses wildly but his ass kissing crew just goes along with everything and anything lame to the determent of the show. He looks to his crew for real guy on the street story lines and bits, but the sad part is his crew is a bunch of losers who aren't the least funny or interesting in their private lives. Stuttering John, Jacky, Gorillo, elephant boy, hank and the other original wack packers were just that original and funny. The show is now a parody of itself. Grasping at anything to try and stay fresh but missing badly.

95. hey howard's sheep: your name should be "jackass" instead. dear, dear idiot - sirius had 600,000 subscribers before howard and almost 8 million after. howard is worth every penny of the $500M investment. you are a jealous loser.

i love the howard critics who don't listen to the show nor do they have their facts straight. go back to listening to low class regular radio - hope you enjoy the commercials every 5 minutes. i'll keep my sirius instead.

101. I too was listening live when the poop hit the fan.
I think Howard did egg Artie on, but it was obvious that Artie went berserk. While I possibly believe Howard's refusal to air the replay was done for Artie's best interests, it's still wrong for him not to address the fans at all. The website has not been updated either, giving the stench of either a publicity stunt or legal action. Howard is defintely going to lose respect if he does not do something soon, as cries of, "hypocrite!" can already be heard throughout Stern fans since he is supposedly such a free speech guru.
Artie, get some help and come back!! Howard, tell us what is going or at least address it, or go to hell.

Jackie Martling was a no-talent hack.
Artie is just a big loser - a fat drunken gambling addict who will be dead very soon.

That's nonsense. If you listened to the show you would know that everyone from Riley Martin to Fred to Robin to Artie is NOT employed by Howard. They are all employed by Sirius. When Howard announced his contract signing on Terrestrial radio he announced that he had signed with Sirius. At that point, he encouraged the others to talk to Sirius and get signed by them as well. Obviously, Howard strongly encouraged Sirius to sign them and they did. But Howard himself does not employ them.

I don't know why they pulled the replay and you don't either. It's not like Sirius would have less legal issues because it only aired once. They may not have had the replay ready to go due to the distraction caused by the days events or maybe Howard just wanted it pulled because it disturbed him or maybe Sirius asked them not to replay it because it disturbed them. Who knows?
