18. I think that idol has run it course! It is so boring this year. I really don't think that any of the contestants are as talented as they had been in previous seasons. I tivo and fast forward through most of the show! It seems like almost all of the contestants have had record deals and then lost them....why would they even let them through to the show. If they failed once, they will again.....Just my opinion.
BTW - Does anyone else find David Archuletto (however you spell it) as irritating as I do?

20. by me: I totally agree with you on David A., he completely creeps me out. He always looks so confused and lost, even when he's talking to Ryan. He's young, I guess we can cut him some slack on being "impish," but I t hink he's playing the crowd a lot, and he understands his powers more than he lets on.

Also, from what I hear, his dad is a real prick and doesn't let him do anything outside of rehearsing and doing what Idol wants him to do - they would probably be great on that new (albeit weird) new Danny Bonaduce show - crazy parents and their talentless kids...

Finally, prediction sites have been going since Season 1 of AI - DialIdoll has had a pretty good run and their predictions are usually spot on - they predict Carly to go - let's see who's right (in my opinion, I think Michael Johns has run his course - his age is really showing through - there's a reason why the young ones have been winning lately...

21. You know whats weird, this year they pretty much didn't let anybody on who wasn't "Pop Idol Pretty" Do you notice that everybody who made the top is attractive, skinny etc... Hell half the reason that earlier seasons were fun to watch was because of the big girls like Mandissa, Lakisha, and Kimberly Lock. This group is just so.....Boring. Oh, and yes to the previous poster, I used to like David Archuletta but he has become almost as irritating as Sayesha.

22. I find David Archuleta to be a breath of fresh air, what's irritating is all the hate he receives. The story about Davids dad has already been proven false by reliable sources. And now TMZ is at it again trying to make it appear as if he lied about his Angels performance. No, David is not the one who is irritating, it is the TMZ spin machine and all those that blindly believe them that are irritating.

23. Amazing how Kristy Lee Cook is not mentioned at all amongst you or these internet "prediction" sites of who is leaving. She has been in the bottom 3 for the past 4 shows... however ALWAYS survives. ..

I think it is because she has been the ONLY who has improved each week consistently. I am not saying she is going to win it all... however she is one of those dark horses that COULD make it to the top 3... just remember where you read this first.

24. Soltice - Relax a little - don't you understand that all of these sites are just for fun? If you take anything on this site to be for real, then you are truly the one with the problem. What reliable sources - is there such a thing when it comes to reality t.v.? Were you there? Do you stay in the same room with David A.? Haven't you ever noticed the way he looks out into the crowd after performing? He looks sooooo scared and embarrassed - just what you want from a superstar???!!??? He has never learned how to take a compliment, and that's truly sad. And you don't think that upbringing and having parents constantly telling you to do better has any affect on that?

If you have such a problem with TMZ, why are you on the site at all? Stick to americanidol.com if you want to have just the sappy, well-wishing crowd to deal with...

25. I am on this site to dispel rumors, but thanks for the concern. Reliable sources would be his voice couch that has worked side by side with both David and his Dad for over 5 years. Reliable sources would be some of his closest family and friends that have also said the stories are simply not true. Whats TMz sources, that's right, they can't even put a name to them, give me a break. His parents have clearly done something right, one can only imagine how much better off are country would be if more kids were just like him.

26. I believe this. I know I watch the first part of each person then fast forward to the judges comments if I don't like it. I'm not as drawn in this season as I have been in the past simply because it's gotten boring. I don't want to spend 2 hours trying to vote...I don't have time for that, so for that matter I can wait til later and watch the performances. I do like that they now allow them to have instruments and also record in studio for itunes the whole song. That always bugs me when they only get to sing a minute and a half of a song and do it so great and you want to hear the whole thing. Personally I think that Kristy will be in the bottom again, with syesha, and carly. As far as I'm concerned any of them can go, they are great fillers but they shouldn't win.
However, I think Kristy has gotten better each week where some of the others just maintain. I do like Jason and Brooke, even though they stick to the same stuff. They know what they like and what sounds best for them. I like David, but he's just too young. And Michael and David Cook are ok but they just bug me.

27. I guess typing skills don't come with your expert source information (a vocal couch - cool)...have you spoken directly with these people - what is your outlet for this information? Just because you say that these people have proved TMZ wrong, doesn't guarantee your accuracy - at least not in my mind. If any of these other drones think you're on the money - good for you. Plus, you just admitted the fact that David's father is VERY INVOLVED in his career (not always a good thing honey) - why does he need the vocal couch (to use your words)?

29. If this were truly a singing competition, Jason Castro and Kristy Lee Cook wouldn't have even made the Top 24. Unfortunately, to some degree, it's a beauty/popularity contest. When Kristy thought she was going to get booted after a disasterous, critically panned performance, she used the sex card, telling Simon on national TV that she could blow his socks off, reminding America that she's attractive flirt, even though she is lacking in singing ability. It worked for her. And Jason is only there because he is genuinely sweet and people like his unusual hairstyle, I'm guessing. In short, he's likeable. Would you really buy an album of Jason-sung tracks.....I don't think so. Take away the visuals, and there's nothing there. Kind of like Taylor Hicks. Taylor's a better performer than he is a singer. Syesha is one of the more talented ones left. If she gets the boot before Kristy Lee, Jason, and Brooke, that will be unfortunate and unfair, because she's definitely better than they are.

30. Don't like Carly-don't like her tatoos-have you ever noticed that none of the contestants on beauty pagents have tatoos-Brooke is good-David A-too young-I think the rest are all kinda equal-I do think they all need to go back and re-think their song selections a little more.
