39. Praise God that Syesha wasn't voted off, as she is one of the better singers. It's tragic though that Michael Johns was voted off, when he is clearly WAY better than Jason, Brooke, and most definitely Kristy Lee Cook. What is wrong with America?? Caryl had the worst night, though she is one of the best singers, but she's a bit of an eye-sore with her tattoos. I thought she would get the boot. The travesty is that Kristy Lee Cook (the female Sanjaya) continues to sail through the competition on her sex appeal alone. That's just wrong America!! Wake up!!!

43. I think Sayesha is one of the better singers, even if her personality is blah. To me she's like Whitney Lite. What she doesn't seem to comprehend is that she desperately needs to pick a pop/rock/folk/whatever song that is well known and was made famous by a male singer, then take that song and let us hear it via her female voice with that great r&b range. This is why David Cook is kicking ass, because he knows how to be original. He can sing a Lionel Richie song, a Beatles song, a friggin' song from Thriller - and he makes them all sound fresh, even though those songs were all sung by men. Why Sayesha doesn't get this is beyond me. Anyone knows that if you copy a song by the best (same sex) singers out there, then you are obviously going to be compared to them. My bf Simon even spelled it out for her this week, but I swear, if she survives this week, she'll probably do the same thing next week. If they all have vocal coaches, (sorry, couches) then why isn't someone helping HER out with song choices? She really needs it. So does Carly.

Me? I fast forwarded thru Brooke this week. She looks like such a spaz when she's waiting to hear judges comments. Like she's going to break into hysterics at any minute. That's my favorite part. How is she going to handle any kind of fame if she's that fragile? For the record, I've wanted Kristy to go home every single week since I first saw and heard her, but even she was even better than Brooke this week.
