Crazy TV Contraption Predicts "Idol" Losers

TiVo If you want to place bets on "Idol" in Vegas, we think we found a way you could score millions of bucks.

TiVo may have cracked the mystery of who gets kicked off and who doesn't. Company insiders say they can predict who's not connecting by TiVo usage.

Here's the deal. In a sample of 20,000 users, TiVo monitors traffic -- which contestants get replayed (a sign of popularity) and which one's get fast-forwarded.

You think it's bogus? Well, the TiVo system has nailed who got booted four weeks in a row.

And who does TiVo say is getting the ax tonight? Poor Syesha. Take it to the bank, people.

31. If this were truly a singing competition, Jason Castro and Kristy Lee Cook wouldn't have even made the Top 24. Unfortunately, to some degree, it's a beauty/popularity contest. When Kristy thought she was going to get booted after a disasterous, critically panned performance, she used the sex card, telling Simon on national TV that she could blow his socks off, reminding America that she's attractive flirt, even though she is lacking in singing ability. It worked for her. And Jason is only there because he is genuinely sweet and people like his unusual hairstyle, I'm guessing. In short, he's likeable. Would you really buy an album of Jason-sung tracks.....I don't think so. Take away the visuals, and there's nothing there. Kind of like Taylor Hicks. Taylor's a better performer than he is a singer. Syesha is one of the more talented ones left. If she gets the boot before Kristy Lee, Jason, and Brooke, that will be unfortunate and unfair, because she's definitely better than they are.

32. If you want to buy into everything that gossip sites post go right ahead, personally I prefer real sources. And since when has typing skills had anything to do with the discussion? Also, please don't call me "honey" I'm a 35 year old heterosexual male. If you would research you would also find out that American Idol requires parents to be present with contestants under 18. One last thing, if you think David A is the only contestant with a vocal coach you are very ignorant.

And, jerk, most people do appreciate when they can read a posting that uses proper spelling and grammar (at least those of us that have graduated grade-school!)

Nobody said anything about believing this site - in fact the first post against yours stated fully that these sites are just for fun - why are you such a douche? You obviously don't read very well because your responses don't make any sense...nobody said he was the only one with a vocal COUCH - they were making a point about why his dad would need a vocal COUCH...

37. Syesha is definiely one of the few that can sing.Brooke and Christy please.They cant sing and they are BORING. I like Carly,tattoos and all but I hope David Cook wins.

40. Praise God that Syesha wasn't voted off, as she is one of the better singers. It's tragic though that Michael Johns was voted off, when he is clearly WAY better than Jason, Brooke, and most definitely Kristy Lee Cook. What is wrong with America?? Caryl had the worst night, though she is one of the best singers, but she's a bit of an eye-sore with her tattoos. I thought she would get the boot. The travesty is that Kristy Lee Cook (the female Sanjaya) continues to sail through the competition on her sex appeal alone. That's just wrong America!! Wake up!!!

41. WOW... who saw THIS one coming... even the other contetants were NOT HAPPY with that decision. I am still in shock...
As for TMZs Tivo crap... crap, crap, crap... your mole does better work... stop grasping at straws... I wish it had been Syesha... but, everyone but ONE will go.... but it should not have been Michael this week at ALL
