Crazy TV Contraption Predicts "Idol" Losers

TiVo If you want to place bets on "Idol" in Vegas, we think we found a way you could score millions of bucks.

TiVo may have cracked the mystery of who gets kicked off and who doesn't. Company insiders say they can predict who's not connecting by TiVo usage.

Here's the deal. In a sample of 20,000 users, TiVo monitors traffic -- which contestants get replayed (a sign of popularity) and which one's get fast-forwarded.

You think it's bogus? Well, the TiVo system has nailed who got booted four weeks in a row.

And who does TiVo say is getting the ax tonight? Poor Syesha. Take it to the bank, people.

63. Regarding that comment about picking the losers on American Idol? "Poor Syesha, you can take that to the bank people?" I don't want to be the one doing any transactions at YOUR bank then. Wow, what a HUGE mistake. I happen to like Syesha but to let him go and her stay? I don't think so.

66. Apparently some of you havent been watching from week to week ... I agree that MJ should not have been voted out but Kristy Lee Cook is definitely not the worst singer .... "God Bless the USA" saved her, in which she did a wonderful job I might add .... and her Martina song "Anyway" was one of the better performances of that night easily .... Must be some typical "country music haters" on the forum.... Some of us are a little more open minded ... anyhow, there were three or four that performed worse than MJ the other night so I was def surprised .... Some of them better pick it up or they will be singing on the sidelines also ....

68. Can't believe they voted off Michael. He is way above most of the other contestants. Brooke is such a spaz. She looks so clutzy when she isn't hiding behind an instrument. She has absolutely no rythmn. She could never handle being An American Idol. I would love to hear how Christy does singing something that isn't country. David Cook can only sing rock and Jason ,as cute as he is, seems to only sing folk songs. He just doesn't come across strong. I don't like Carly or her stupid tattoo. The younger David is great, but not mature enough to handle the pressure. Sayesha deserves to be in the top three.

70. why do people keep trying to screw up American Idol? I don't want to know who is going home...I am sure that the powers that be (Tivo) know who is going to win the competition. I suspect that it isn't even close. David Cook is far out in front of the rest and they may be close to each other. At this point it is more a contest of who is going to be runner up.

73. The 2 David's are the only actual class talent on this show. The girl's all need to go. This year's winner should be one of these guys. I would listen to an album of either one' songs. I love David A's Voice. He is young and it shows but, the talent is undeniable. David Cook - love his variety and vocal quality in his voice. He is bold and could easily carry off an "Idol" schedule. His choices of music and delivery in his performance keep him interesting. The other girls and Jason have nothing to offer and no surprises in their performances.
