Brooke White's Sister: My Bridesmaid is Cardboard

As "Idol" contestant Brooke White mentioned last night, she must skip her sister's wedding this Saturday because of the show's rehearsal schedule -- but don't cry for her Argentina, she's found a way to be in both places at once!

Brooke -- and her family -- have come up with a creative solution: Michael Johns will go in her place They've built a cardboard cutout of Brooke to take her place. Paging Flat Stanley!

We're told all contestants know way in advance about the Saturday schedules, and are aware that they just can't miss the weekend rehearsal. "It's one of those sacrifices you have to make if you want to be a star," "Idol" Exec Producer Nigel Lythgoe tells us, adding, "It would be a shame if Brooke was kicked off the show because she hadn't properly rehearsed." Yes, that would be just awful!

77. It is too bad that all you seem to be so judgemental of Brook. I actually really enjoy her singing she is very reminscent of Carly Simon in her younger years and I really enjoy it! I really liked Michael Johns singing as well, but then again this is not a popularity contest no is it?

78. Someone said that they didn't think that Brook should be on because she has made an album. Well Michael Johns, David Cook, Carl Smithson, Syisha Marcado and several others have also recorded and sold solo album and group album, so are you saying they should all be excluded? If yes, then you must go back to all previous seasons and elimonate top contestants from those seasona as well. Knowledge is everything. Brook missing her sisters wedding was a sacrifice she was willing to make to have a chance a continuing on American Idol and obviously I am not the only one that thinks that she has talent. Do I think that she will take it all? No. Do I think that she will walk away with a contract? Absolutely! And I will be waiting in line to but it.

Brooke White is extremely talented, no doubt she'll be top 3...down to earth personality, blond hair blue eyes ALL AMERICAN idol (no pun intended, my bad) never seen a rated "R" movie never had a drink nor smoke blah blah blah, wait a second. Somethings wrong with this picture...shes gotta have skeletons in the closet, hmmmm...lol. One last thing, no cardboard cutout of Brooke spiced up the wedding, she said it live last Tues just before her perfomance.

80. why is brooke still around and last night when she screwed up that was not the first time. I remeber when she was on the piano she started then stopped then started. she is nothing but a screw up. I wsh kristi was back Carly needs to go to the tatoo is so ugly that is not an Idol image.

81. Im shooting for the 2 daves they are not only great singers but they have that Idol Image and always look like stars. Carly, brooke and Syesha need to go . So does Dread lock boy he looks like a Girl. Yuck.

82. I am amazed at the coment about Brooke. She has a different type of voice but a decent voice, better then the majority of us writing our comments. Brooke will have a decent career. She sings, she can write songs, she does stand up for herself. She is doing not one of us any harm. I see her going a long way. I never thought she would win, but I like her album, plus she is one of the firsts that I have seen on Idol with some decency with her clothes, her looks the whoe thing. Her make-up wa not over done, her singing voice was great, I bought her album, and I think "I'm free" could be in the top 10 easily. It is a very good song. One many can relate too. So go Brooke, Do with your life what will make y9ou happy. Love your husband, become a mom and sing.
