16. I didn't see the whole video but from what I did see the victim never hit back. Who does that? She just stands there and takes a beating. Girl needs to learn how to defend herself and fight back.

17. I hope Gloria is able to get every one of those girls lots of prison time, because that's what they deserve. Shame on Dr. Phil! By him bailing out the main bully, he has just lost all credibility as far as I'm concerned. Those girls, and especially the one Dr. Phil is cozying up to for ratings and/or money, have proven they have no conscience or empathy for another human being. Therefore, they should be put away for a long time. It's a shame that we as taxpayers will have to continue to feed and clothe them, but it's better than them being able to just continue their lives as if nothing happened. I hope Gloria doea a great job with this one. We'll all be looking for that.

18. These heffas should be in jail. White trash. They beat that little girl and held her hostage and Dr. Phil bails out the ring leader? Dr. Phil should be in jail for providing junk psychology.

I hope these trifling, low-class bytches serve serious jail time. As far as I'm concerned, they intended to kill that girl. The same with Jena 6 - if they were put in jail for a year for beating up a boy who later that day went to a school dance, then these girls should do the same time. And the 'lookouts' deserve time too.

If that was my daughter, forget a lawyer, I'd be in jail myself because I would personally beat down each one the same way they beat her down.

Punks needs to do time and see what it is like to get bullied. And their parents too! who raises a kid to think it is okay to put their hands on another person?

19. I don't care who the Lindsay family gets to represent them as long as the teenagers involved in this crime get what they deserve: serious jail time. The ringleader deserves no less than 5 yrs in federal prison for orchestrating the assault. I hope they all go to jail and lose out on the chance to go to college, join the military or hold decent jobs. I hope this haunts them for years to come. They deserve whatever they get. It's a lesson they need to learn now before they grow up and become hardcore criminals who think they can do what they want to whomever they want and get away with it. I hope Gloria Allred grinds them into the dirt. I hope the Lindsay family files a civil suit and wins millions against their daughter's attackers. What they did is vile and I feel no sympathy for anyone other than the victim and her family.

20. Gloria is right the family of the victim needs to keep their mouth closed, as they should sue all 8 teens and their parents for big bucks.
They have the video; they have the hospital report, and now the police report. I hope they take the shirts off the backs of all of the parents of the 8 teens in a civil suit.
I also hope the 8 teens do a lot of time in jail. It may discourage similar behavior.
They did one hell of a messed up crappy job in raising their 8 trashy morally depraved teens. I hope they lose everything$$$$

22. i'm GLAD Gloria is representing the family. This is exactly what they need, a high profile lawyer, to get results. They should go after the parents of these brats and wipe them CLEAN. Forever. Where were the parents??! As far as I'm concerned, they're legally to blame. You can get charged for allowing your kids to have a party/liquor in your house, this is no different.
I can't wait to see this unfold.

29. those bullies need a wake up call just like the rest of the spoiled youth in america right now. im tired of people my age being raised by baby boomers who taught them that they can do anything as long as it makes the happy. welcome to moral reletivism. those bullies need to be set as examples.

i had a friend growing up named josh belluardo (you can probably find this article online - although it happened years ago) who was riding his bike home and as soon as he arrived at his driveway, 2 boys from school who regularly bullied him advanced at him. it took one punch to the back of Josh's head to cause an anurism and kill him. I NEVER WANT ANYONE ELSE TO HAVE TO EXPERIENCE THAT AGAIN. and i never want any kids to suffer knowing they killed someone they bullied on accident because their parents didn't hold them accountable.

maybe getting national exposure will wake those bullies up. i think those girls community service should be broadcasted live online so they can understand that if you have the gute to bully on tape, then you should have the guts to take the reprocussions on tape, too. RIP Josh. and my deepest sympathies always for the parents of the bullies and the bullies themselves who have to live with it.
