47. All these media lawyers are even more slimy than regular lawyers, if that's possible. How could anyone on a jury take these tv lawyers seriously, i.e. Geragos, etc?

Saw Allred at a movie premiere once (surprise, surprise - she wants in with the cool kids.)

48. 41. We live in a violent society.Reality shows, Rap Music, American Idol with simons insults. Most mainstream programs are FILLED with insults between characters. On television it is okay to scream and yell in one another's faces and to show someone be cut in half with a chainsaw but not okay to show a womans breast. We are a violent species.

which is interesting because sex and violence are related to each other in the human brain. you would think to indulge that section of the brain, we could just focus on the great sexual part and kick the violence. but then i suppose the S&M crowd would lose out. hehe

49. Dr. Phil makes me sick. I cannot believe that his show would bail out this voilent juvenile. All of the girls belong in jail and hopefully, if there is karma in the world, they will get back 10x what they did to the helpless victim. I wish people would wake up and quit watching his show and buying his books. He makes money by exploiting victims. I hope that Gloria stands up to him and these nasty little delinquents. She may be obnoxious but she'll give Dr. Phil a run for his money.

I've watched whatever I want on TV since a young age. I've never been in a fight in my life. Because my parents raised me with MORALS and taught me RESPECT. I'm so f u c k i n g sick of people blaming TV, the internet, Video Games - for their violent little s h i t h e a d kids! 53. This is so disturbing to me in every way. I can't imagine how her parent feel seeing their daughter all over the TV being beaten. The girls got what they wanted for it to be shown.
Shame on Dr. Phil for bailing Mercedes out. He is turning out to be another Jerry, only with a Ph.d behind his name. I have no respect for that man what so ever.
I was also shocked at what the officer said about the girls laughing and wanting to know if they'll miss cheerleading practice.

well hey, maybe after this recession moved into an economic depression and enough parents lose their jobs - they can spend more time at home watching the kids. until then, im sad to say, they are going to be at work while the kid is babysat by a TV or someone with crappy morals.

57. 19. I don't care who the Lindsay family gets to represent them as long as the teenagers involved in this crime get what they deserve: serious jail time. The ringleader deserves no less than 5 yrs in federal prison for orchestrating the assault. I hope they all go to jail and lose out on the chance to go to college, join the military or hold decent jobs. I hope this haunts them for years to come. They deserve whatever they get. It's a lesson they need to learn now before they grow up and become hardcore criminals who think they can do what they want to whomever they want and get away with it. I hope Gloria Allred grinds them into the dirt. I hope the Lindsay family files a civil suit and wins millions against their daughter's attackers. What they did is vile and I feel no sympathy for anyone other than the victim and her family.

On what do you base your belief my comment is a "black racist remark"? There is absolutely no reference to race in my comment, so I doubt anyone but you considers what I wrote to be racist. And for the record, I doubt I could be considered racist given my racial background includes Black, White, Indian and Chinese.
