Britney: Chinese Fire Drill Cover-up?

Britney Spears didn't break any laws in her fender bender Saturday night -- but she may have thought about it.

In video shot by CelebTV.com, you can clearly see Britney hop over from the driver's seat to the passenger seat in the aftermath of car crash. Did the popwreck consider telling people she wasn't the one driving -- only to change her mind later?

Watch the video and judge for yourself.

16. It amazes me that the pop-wreck is even allowed to drive. Sure her latest 'incident' was harmless...she still is a reckless driver. Maybe instead a driving the fast fancy cars she should buy an lower priced smaller car that is automatic & get some driving lessons......

19. yes... Britney, in a foolproof plan to evade yet another traffic misdemeanor, expertly switched seats with her bodyguard in order to place the infraction squarely on his shoulders. Only two things wrong with this scenario. 1. Britney and her bodyguard would both have to be blind and deaf in order to not realize that thousands of pictures and several minutes of video were taken of her during the entire episode, all of which were beamed to the desktops and laptops of the general populace within minutes. And driving while blind and deaf, while probably not out of the realm of things Britney would attempt, probably did not occur. 2. Britney did not have, as far as I know, that 'Men in Black' gadget on hand to instantly wipe out and create new memories of all the people around her. But then again maybe she did have that gadget and the memory of this accident was created by Britney for us to conseal an accident that was considerably more ridiculous. just a thought...

20. FFS how far are you reaching? There are dozens of flashes going off of her in the driver's seat and she sat there for a few seconds at least. The bodyguard probably told her to move over. There was no hiding there.

22. Oh come on guys... She sat there for a good minute before she switched seats and it was only AFTER her bodyguard spoke with her. He probably asked her to get out of the driver's seat so he can drive and so she isn't accused of anything else. Do you really think she would do something like that fully knowing that she was being filmed and photographed? Especially knowing that the TMZ photogs were there? The same people who gave videos to the court that denied her visitation rights? What a bunch of idiots. And I do mean you, the people who voted, not TMZ. TMZ is imply doing what it does best.

24. #17, Adnan got stabbed? And you think this is news, why?

I hate to say this but, I would rather hear about Britney's accident than Adnan's stabbing. Thanks a lot.

25. To Lenn K (currently msg #5): I love your "leech-sucking, maggots" metaphor. The paps are maggots who suck leeches. It's an apt image, indeed.

27. If we're going to ban cellphones, then let's start on women who do their hair and face while driving.....MAKE IT AGAINST THE LAW!

28. It's no wonder she had a fender bender with all the paparazzi tailing her all the time. Maybe if they left her alone she could get her life together. No one was hurt, so leave it alone.

29. There was nothing more than a very gentle bumper bump in this incident and anyone reporting that it was a "10-15 mph" rear-end collision is just not correct.

There was no damage to the rear bumper of the car she hit and there was no damage to the front bumper of Britney's car, none, nadda, zilch, zero! Not even a bruise. Click on the photo thumbnail of the front of Britney's car here.

Now read this article reporting on "tests designed to replicate low-speed impacts" and look at the front end damage of the Mercedes-Benz C-class which was tested at just "6 miles per hour" against a barrier "designed to mimic the bumper of another car."
http://money.cnn.com/2007/08/01/autos/iihs_luxury_bumper/index.htm?postversion=2007080209

Conclusion: The incident involving Britney in this "freeway crash" was just a very gentle bumper bump, probably at a speed no more than 1-3 mph, an impact that would barely jiggle jello. So it's time to lay the "sore back" claim to rest. And as for the guy claiming to see Britney putting on make-up while driving behind him just moments before the incident? It's also time to lay that claim to rest. This incident occurred after dark. In this photo you cannot even see the driver of the car that is stopped just a few feet behind Britney's car.

30. It just looks like she was being safe and moving to the other seat without getting out of the car near traffic.
