I really admire this man. He said years ago that he earned a lot of money on that television series. He then invested it very wisely so that he would never have to work again if he didn't want to. So he has been living the very good life since then.
Do yourself a favor and rent "My Favorite Year" with Mark Linn-Baker and Peter O'Toole. It's a classic!

The show was really a closted gay show, and I should know since I was too. Back in the 80's it was cool to act chummy with guys and wear wild clothes, but not actually be "out". Example, this show, "Simon&Simon", George Michael, Michael Stipe, Elton, etc.
ABC made the producers add the 2 blonde girls to the show so it wouldn't be 'too gay'. But the boys were always touching, grabbing, hugging, and crying all over each other,
Yeah it was on 8 years, but the last few it was like 'According to Jim', barely watched. And its last season was just 'burning off' episodes in the summer. Urkel upstaged it!
