I think Dr. Phil's "lowly pa" went waay beyond the extra mile of protecting his "exclusive guests" by shoving his portly body and potato face into camera shots and getting in arguements with the local news gals. (although did you notice that while he was off arguing with the CBS affiliate, a wily Fox News reporter snuck in from behind and started asking questions?) Once he saw that, he rushed in and put his arm around mom, and then held grandma's hand while dragging her to a car and directing her to "say nothing". I wouldn't want that gross sweaty person touching me, exclusivity or not. But he did show talent in another area -- he needs to seize the moment, leave broadcaasting and and get a high paying job as a bodyguard for one of TMZ's favorite girls or a bouncer at closing time at Le Deux or the Geisha House. A guy with his special talents and charisma might just get his own reality show!
