61. Mountain Meadow Massacre....everybody sins. We all do. The bible teaches the only way to salvation is by Christ, not works. We do things for Christ because we love him, not for our salvation. The bible is very clear on that. Epheisians 2 8 For we are saved by grace, not works, lest anyone should boast. We are saved through grace alone. How could we when the bible teaches if we fail at one law , we fail at them all? How could we possibly keep all the laws? One does have to keep all the laws to get into the Celestial Kingdom. If you don't agreee with this then you need to read more of your doctrine. What does that mean? Mormon leader says it means "all things". We could never be this perfect. So one might say well it is grace to get into heaven, but then we must keep all laws and be perfect to get into the celestial kngdom. That's not grace because one has to do "many things" to get there. And what are the many things? You won't till you get there? We are sured of our salvation in Christ!!!! I just get a little excited, please forgive me honestly, but people need to know the truth.
I have to say this is MORMONISM EXPOSED. These might be great guys but it brings people the truth about their religion. Bet these guys had no idea this would get people talking so much!!
Now what about Jospeh Smith and his 50 some prophesies? A prophet cannot get one prophecy wrong. Mormonism is based on this guy. Have they come true? No. They say the prophecy did for cival war breakout did but also know that at the time pretty much everyone else knew it was to happen too.
His wife didn't want him to have other women. But he did it anyway because it was a "divine revelation". A divine revelation that destroys a marraige, and yet now it is not okay to do. But will be in heaven. Brigham Young said to become gods we must partake in polygmy. But then the book of mormon says there is ONLY ONE GOD.
ISAIAH 43:10 BEFORE ME THERE WAS NO GOD FORMED NOR WILL THERE BE AFTER ME. Mormonism teaches plural gods.
Mormons may give 10%, tithing, but notice their church will never say how much the church makes. Why not? I've not known of a church to do this. Don't the leaders need to be held accountable? They do in the temple. These are supposedly the most holiest people working there, yet they do lock the drawers you put your stuff in when you go there. Interesting. I'm not against mormons. I love them, I have people at work that are mormons and I love them. They are nice, great people. I believe they just haven't read much of their own doctrine.

62. To all LDS writers: why don't you address the issue I brought up about non-LDS parents not being allowed to witness their LDS son or daughter get married in the Temple. THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH A RELIGION THAT DOES NOT ALLOW PARENTS TO ATTEND THEIR CHILD'S WEDDING IN THE TEMPLE. You may claim it is SACRED... but it is SECRET. My wedding vows were sacred, but all could attend. How about you LDS members explain what must be worn and who you meet throughout the wedding Temple Ceremony?

63.
You'll notice that mormons believe in putting no crosses up because it signifies the torture Christ went through. Yet on the temple they have a pentagram with the point at the BOTTOM. On the front of the satanic bible is a pentagram with the point at the bottom also. I'm not saying that is what is going on at the temple but it does make one wonder why they would allow this. Now, I'm sure the people that put it on the temple meant nothing by it. Does make you wonder though. I think most of the symbols on the temple are part of Masonry that Joseph Smith was affiliated with at one time. Just look up these online and you'll see all the symbols that are on the temple. Many of them. Some are also used in black majic.
I believe the mormon teaching teaches that the pentagram/star on the temple represents Jesus's 5 wounds at the cross. Then why are they so against the cross if they will put this other symbol of torture up? May make sense to some but not to me. I'm sure there is an answer.
And this is a little off the subject but did you also know married mormons are not allowed to have oral sex? Here is one of their late leaders. Late president and prophet Harold B Lee".. "I was shocked to have some of you raise the question about oral lovemaking in the genital area of married couples....heaven forbid any such activities, it would be abhorrent in the sight of the Lord.." Goes onto say you are not to engage of such a practice. What? This was a prophet so his word should stand. Unless a new law came along saying one could now.
Brigham Young said
"Christianity is a perfect pack of nonsense, the devil could not of come up with a better engine to spread his work". Yet notice they do call themselves christians. I'm sure there is an answer for that but sometimes one just has to look at things for what they seem.

64. As you may know, I am not a supporter of the LDS, but I do know the Mormons Exposed website is not something the LDS would approve of. In fact, I just went to the ME site and saw the following: Mormons Exposed is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This website and related products are intended for entertainment, education and philanthropic purposes.

65. I'm just going to address the elephant in the room, if you don't mind. I find the ignorant people with their misperceptions of the LDS faith amusing. But do you know what makes me laugh like Heck? All the defensive members who are posting their indignation. Would any ONE of you sit down and peruse this web site with your bishop? I think not. If you were so firm in your faith, you wouldn't even be at this site yourself. There's a word for that. It's called hypocrisy.

Posted at 11:19PM on Apr 16th 2008 by HEY HEY HEY

66. To start this off, did you know that in the endowment in the mormons temple they use to chant a saying Pale ale ale! Direct Hebrew translation of this means Marvelous Lucifer. Now, why would one even want to say that? Although you'll notice that toohas been changed back in 1930.
Actually number 65 interesting you would say that. I would have to AGREE with you about being a hypocrit.I had a mormon family member tell me about this site. Guess word traveled like wild fire about this mormonism exposed. She heard about it and seemed really confused as to why these guys, if they were mormons, would be posing like this and why their church would allow it. So I thought what a perfect opportunity to witness about mormon teaching. Should we then only tell people of Christ in heavenly places here on earth? We are no better than anyone else. We are told to think of others better than ourselves.
I wanted to understand the mormon faith some time ago because I had family members who were mormon. I could tell the things they were telling me, their paperwork they would bring home from church, most things they were learning from mormonism doctrine was conflicting greately with the teachings of Christ in the bible. Take away the bible from mormonism because it is so "corrupt" according to the leaders and what to do you have? You don't have a way to reach out to christians.

Most leaders teach their church that everything is mistranslated or everything is a misperception if it doesn't agree with their teaching.I have heard that saying said the same way for I don't how long. The bible does not have these major belief contradtictions in it. The same theory holds through and true throughout the bible. If one could just read the bible through and through one could see this is not of the same spirit as mormonism faith teaches. Read the new kings james verson without the thees and thoughs and it is easier to understand. The mormon faith teaches that the bible has been corrupted throughout the yrs due to translation issues. So for reason one has to step back from the bible and show how the book of mormon, the true book of mormonism contradicts in huge beliefs with D&C and Great Pearl of Price, which are a part of the mormon doctrine. Book of mormon says there is only one God. D&C says there isn't, there are plural gods. Heaven saved without baptism in Book of mormon, then no wait in D&C it says baptism of the dead is essential for salvation. Yet if the book of mormon is the "most true word of God" according to mormon teaching then why do mormons baptize for the dead when book of mormon says you don't need to. God dwells in the heart in Book of mormon, then He doesn't in D&C. Gods word cannot change in book of mormon, yet it can change in D&C. NO pre-existance in book of mormon, then there is pre-existance in the D&C and Great Pearl of Price. Death's fate is sealed in Book of mormon, yet man has chance after death Doctrine and Covenant. Book of mormon says there is just heaven and hell, yet D&C teaches otherwise that there are only 3 heavens. Church members who tithe will not burn, that is D&C, sextion 64:23. Agst. paid ministry in book of mormon, for it in D&C. Murder can be forgiven in the book of mormon, yet cannot in D&C and not only does it say it is not forgiven here on earth but you won't be forgiven in the afterworld. In creation there was only one God in book of mormon, yet in Great Pearl of Price teaches there are plural gods during creation. Bible teaches Christ paid for all sins. Would He not be good enough to cover certain sins and why not if the bible teaches He is God.
I have family members who are mormon. They are really some great, nice people. I don't have all the answers, I'm not trying to say that at all. Far from it. I sin just like everyone else. I just want to put some light of what mormonism teaches. In sunday church, does the leader ever discuss why the contradictions exist in the book of mormon, D&C, and Great Pearl of Price?
He died for our sins on the cross, shed his blood, paid the price for all our sins so we wouldn't have to. W
e should teach no other doctrine, no fables, and no endless geneologies. 1 Timothy 1:4. Yet mormon teaching says go through endless geneologies to save people that have already died. There is a building with endless names of people that have died that mormons have prayed for. The bible says Abraham and people of the old testament were saved through their faith, Hebrews talks much about that. And the basic teaching of Christ is that he died for our sins. Why baptize the dead if Christ died for our sins for salvation?
1 Corinthians 15: 29 Even Paul questions why are "they "baptizing for the dead? Because these were the effects of denying the resurrection. So then you could say the bible has been corrupted, then has every verse been corrupted in the bible? How would one know? You would have to just take the bible completely away, but mormon teaching doesn't. It is still considered "Holy" to mormonism. Take the bible away from mormonism and the other doctrines in mormonism completely contradict themselves in the simple beliefs of God and His teaching.
I do apologize to anyone I offended. I understsand this is someones faith that we are talking about. Someone who has just started out believing it or someone who has been taught it through 3 generations. And you are right 65, all of us are hypocrits at times. I have been I'm sure many times. Mormonism teaching keeps people in a state of bondage with all the laws they have to keep, the bible doesn't. It gives us freedom in Christ.
Paul in the bible talks again about how we are saved by grace and not the law but then he also states that that also doesn't give us the right to go around everywhere sinning. We obey Him because we love Him.

President Hinckley, a mormon president said this, " We preach of a different christian than the traditional christians speak of".

the bible Galations 1:6 It talks about how we should not turn to another gospel other than the gospel in the bible
It says
"I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the Grace of Christ to a different gospel.." Then onto say" but even if an angel from heaven preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you let him be accursed"
Mathew 24:24 CHRIST says this in the bible, "if anyone says look here is Christ, do not belive it, for false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand"
I just hope all will test these LDS scripture contraditions out, God asks us to test things out and to see if it matches his teachings. Yet mormon leaders will tell you not to listen to the "intellects" of this world. Test these scriptures out.

67. Jorgia-as to your comment on oral sex-you fail to see that there is a huge difference between things prophets or church leaders say and actual mormon doctrine. Our leaders are human and entitled to their own view points, that does not mean our church has forbid oral sex. There is NO commandment or teaching regarding it-the OFFICIAL handbook put out by the church states this: "What happens between a husband and wife within the confines of their marital bed is between them and God." In otherwords we can do what we want and how we want and the only person who needs to worry about it besides us is God!

68. Oh Canada, I understand what you are saying. I agree with you we can't always follow our leaders, but here is what I mean.
From what I've read, mormonism presidents are considered the prophet for that time. A prophet speaks on behalf of God.
I'm sure they are wonderful men. They are human, you are right just like us but if they are considered prophets then they are speaking on behalf of God. Mormon president Hinckley also said married couples should not have oral sex.
My point is the one you made. They aren't always right. But if it is from a prophet, it is divine inspiration and it should be followed.

69. I apologize I misquoted mormon president Hinckley earlier in # 66. He said " We preach of a different Christ than the traditional christians speak of". Sorry about that.

70. Jorgia, I understand where you are comming from also, however, not EVERYTHING the prophet says or comments on is inspiration from God, some of it is just personal opinion. Unless he specifically institutes it as actual gospel doctrine, it is just that-an opinion. Here is a perfect example-rated R movies. I am not sure which church leader, may not have even been a prophet, said that we should not see rate R movies and many Mormons take that as actual doctrine or as a commandment, when it is not and was simply one man expressing his personal beliefs. If it were an actual commandment, then it would be part of our temple reccomend interview and its not. (process we go through to get a 'pass' nto the temple) I think you have struck on a very common misconception in AND out of the church-figuring out what is actual commandment and what is simply an opinion. Our leadres obviously have thier own ideas but we do not have to adhere to them unless they become commandment. I think you would be surprised how many of the common theories people have about Mormons, is based on the opinions and not actual doctrine.

71. Hey Oh Canada
I like that name
I will say this, if a prophet in the old testament were to get just
one prophesy wrong than he was to be considered a false
propeht.
Galations 5:4
You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by the law, you have fallen away from grace.
Paul speaks to the Galations in the new
testament. The book called Galations. Paul wrote to the Galations
because these people, according to him were perverting the gospel.
They were justifying their salvation through works. And Paul was
telling them, no, it is through Gace alone. One doesn't have to do anything else. Salvation is through Jesus
alone. It is a great read. If you have the king james version it should say the same thing.

There are no 3 levels of heaven in the bible. Maybe other doctrine, but not the bible.

If we see someone that is not teaching the same Christ of the bible do we not say anything? Do we not let people know who Christ is in all His deity? The One who saves us from bondage so we can live freely and obey him out of love. If I have been offensive to any I TRULY apologize but if "we are to boast we are to boast of Jesus Christ". Mormon teaching says "every man and women must pass Jospeh Smith to get into the heavenly kingdom". Are we boasting on Christ or boasting on Joseph Smith?
Who is our savior?

75. Joseph Smith was a perverted pig. God told him nothing.

These pictures are tasteful compared to the way he lived his life. He wanted to have sex with many women so he said God told him to.

Get over your Mr. Rogers mentality. Your religion wasn't based on it.
