31. Whether true or not, let's just use some common sense here. "An investigation of dozens of present and former employees has failed to find one single person to verify her allegations." The thing about any person who sexually harasses, etc. is that they make sure they engage in the inappropriate conduct when no one else is around so that it's one person's word against their own. Yeah, there are a few exceptions but I'm talking in terms of the norm. Do you think the guy's going to drop trow and expose himself to the nanny in front of the chauffeur and gardener, too?

Of course the she's-a-gold-digger contingent always comes out in any 'he said, she said' case but Rob Lowe doesn't possess a sterling reputation himself. He has a lot to potentially lose if these allegations are proven true and thus has every reason to lie. The public forgave him to an extent once and allowed him to rehab his image, but Rob Lowe is savvy enough to know that a second scandal may permanently put him out of the public's good graces.

People said hateful things about a girl named Monica once upon a time and it turned out the President himself was actually the liar. We'll probably never know in this case who is really telling the truth. Rob Lowe's pre-emptive campaign seems a bit like the actions of a desperate guilty man who's afraid he's going to lose his career and family to me but I'm willing to consider both sides of things.

32. ok, so it's either she's lying her ass off or he really did do it, BUT she consented and loved every minute of it. everyone knows about his past so it isn't impossible that he wouldn't have something w/ her. but there's no way someone would stay at a job for all that time if they weren't enjoying what's going on.

With logic like that, I assume that you side with Ms. Mills, the stripper that lied and brought down an entire US university lacrosse team, and the endless stream of male and female opportunists who utilize sex, scandal, and character assination as a process for financial and professional advancement.

Get your head out of your ass, MH, this woman is about as likely a victim of sexual harrasment as Rush Limbaugh would be, and it is cases like this that set the rights of real victims back in both the civil and criminal justice system.
