The 48-year-old vegetarian resurfaced at STK -- a steakhouse! -- in L.A. on Monday, looking beefier. Meat is murder?!
Born Steven Patrick Morrissey, he is often referred to by fans as Moz or Mozzer.
Although the English singer had a successful solo career -- and continues to have a huge Latino fan base -- no '80s hipster soundtrack would be complete without the depressive anthems of The Smiths.

He looks fit, healthy, young, great!
I don't know who he is, but he's an attractive gentleman.
come on TMZ, do your research...he still has a great career & just released new tracks. & oh yeah...he's hotter than ever.
Morrissey as well as The Smiths will always rule. They have influenced more music than some people (yes, you bashing from over there) will ever know, if you know your music history. So quit'yer bashin' on classic LEFT OF THE DIALers.
p.s.
Morrissey still looks good. I'd let him 'take me out toniiiiiight'
THE SMITHS WHOOO. I LOVE THAT BAND!! WHERE IS JOHNNY MAR????????????????????
How can you say the Smiths songs are depressive. How Soon Is Now is the greatest song ever written. It is the top song of all time on any alternative radio station.
# 7 you depress me take a hit of X and get with it already, LOL
What a joy to read such praise for the Smiths & Morrissey! Who would have thought he would remain a star for decades? Of course, he's always been intelligent and has managed his career well. Love him, love his wit, love the jacket!!!
Morrissey you still rock!!! You put these other stupid lip synchers to shame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE MOZ!!!
Get it straight TMZ. Morrissey has been delivering albums and touring non-stop like the f'ing RockStar that he is. Maybe you should pick up a copy of RINGLEADER OF THE TORMENTORS and then re-post a more accurate article.
Not only does he have a successful solo career (which is still going on), he looks great and he's still a brilliant musician. And he looks gorgeous!
The Smiths's music hasn't dated at all. It's still fresh and wonderful today. I saw an interview with Saint Morrissey (as I call him) recently, and he's very well spoken and intelligent.
Great musician. Better be nice to him, TMZ....
