61. Most of these women were probably born in the compound in Arizona and this is all they know. The children will follow suit. I can really understand them wanting to live a simple lifestyle and even dress this way. I don’t even have that much of a problem with a man having a couple of wives. But the need of these older men to have many wives and new younger wives, and more and more children seems like a sci-fi movie. I read that the older men often want to have some of the younger adolescent boys removed from the compound because it is too tempting to the adolescent girls and they want them for themselves. I would love to know the ratio of men to women in that place.

Because they are "keeping to themselves" That is the most insane comment ever! If someone is abusing a child then the child should be removed and remanded to another home! If the wife wants to stay and be abused she is old enough to make that informed decision herself! But a child has no choice and Texas did the right thing by snatching them out of there immediately! 68. You people complaining about how the younger kids should stay with their mothers are insane and know nothing about child development nor how to conduct an interview with a child about abuse. Did it occur to you that the brainwashed mom would convince them to say it didn't happen or threaten them in some way? Maybe they witnessed it, but there were concerns about the children being abused and if you don't know who the abusers are for sure you don't know who is safe and you can't take that risk. To place a child, you need to convince a judge with evidence. Investigations and going to court and placing kids used to be my job. People like you dumbasses who don't know what you're talking about made an already stressful and traumatic job even harder. You should shut up and be happy that CPS is protecting them. Maybe there was a concern that those religious nutcases would kill the other children to make a statement. You don't know.

69. Number 11, like honestly HELLO , what is wrong with these women, they are an insult to our intelligence as women. Like duh what man would not want to hve the pick of three or four wives, in my language and world that is adultery and having little kids being forced to have sex with OLD MEN, that is called abuse in my world. You women are an insult to all of the people in the professions who protect our children from child predators and sex offenders. Where are these women's parents, the people who raised them, are they not appauled. They dont know even who their own kids are, and the kids dont know who their parents are. They are in a compound with huge walls, WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU. DUH DUH DUH. like helloooooooo. I am totally disgusted by the whole cult scene. It is just an excuse to have the law to protect your rights to do things that outside those walls are illegal and using the world RELIGION , people use religion to hide many many types of abuse, they just use a different word or a different situation to curtail the law. 71. The 14 year old that reported the abuse said she was forced to have sex with her husband who she was forced to marry.
While the act was occuring his "other wives" were in the room holding her baby and watching, This is wrong. These ladies had a choice to leave and go to a womens shelter where they have a "faster" chance of being reunited with their children. Most chose to stay there. These young girls are raised there and forced to marry older men whether they want to or not. 12,13,14 year olds!

72. What has not been mentioned YET, is that all of these women file for "federal subsistance funds' in some way or another. They are collecting monies for single mothers and for however many kids they have. They are ripping off tax payers. The man is only legally maried to one woman but the others are collecting funds from the Gov.

They are well aware they are ripping people off and breaking the law.

73. I grew up in Mormonism and let me tell you, they are ALL a lot weirder than you can imagine.

Even mainstream Mormons wear seret, magical underwear and swear death oaths in their temples.
Their true allegiance is NOT to America but to their current prophet and to their founder Joseph Smith.

Mormonism is basically a Hitler-type cult which demands strict obedience to leaders and unquestionin loyalty to the Fuehrer, er, I mean prophet.
The only difference is that Hitler's followers wore brown shirts and all Mormon men have to wear white shirts.

Actually, Hitler was mild compared to the Mormon hierarchy. At least Hitler did not demand 10% of a member's income before taxes and Hitler did build the Autobahn and enacted decent health care for everyone.
Mormonism is like a vector on your back which sucks out all you have and gives nothing back.
That is why Utah is the #1 state in bankruptcies and Prozac consumption.

RUN if you are ever approached by Mormon missionaries. They will lie to you and love-bomb you.

The Mo church comes nicely packaged to outsider but will use you up once you join, that's when the demands start.

Oh, and you will be encouraged to breed more kids than you can afford because leaders need more members coming up through the ranks.
