To Kelli (currently message number 25): I'm guessing that the reason for why no charges have been filed is because the police have not come up with sufficient evidence that Sam has done anything that is specifically illegal. Simple manipulation and exploitation of a not-very-smart, naive, muddle-headed, and weak-willed person is not against the law, in and of itself.

However, I also believe that Sam has done plenty of nasty things, both with Britney and with other people in the past, the testimony about which would damage his already low-level of cred if it came out in court. That's why, in my opinion, he opted not to contest the extension of his restraining order. Better from Sam's point of view that the world would have an unclear, ambiguous idea of the way he operates than for all of the damaging details about him to come out in sworn testimony.

32. Brittany really seems to have straightened herself out and I for one am very proud of her. I really can't stand to see and read all the negative press that she receives. Unless people have walked a day in her shoes and know what's it's like to live such a public life then they should not criticize her. This is someone who has hit rock bottom and has apparently turned her life around and for that she deserves not just my utmost respect but everyone elses as well. This is someone that if ever given the chance I would be proud to call my friend. Now I only hope that she does not allow Sam back into her life. He did nothing but bring her down to her all time low. She has so much to offer and I hope she realizes that and doesn't allow this kind of person back into her life.

33. Sam's a leech. Leeches are a dime a dozen in Hollywood, or anywhere where there is money. He's trash-- beyond trash.
I don't know why he is still in the picture. What claim does he have to Brittany's life? It would be a blessing if something unfortunate should happen to him. Someone needs to make him an offer he can't refuse.

35. Thank God for Dad! Who is this SAM and how did he get into her life? You notice there are nowhere near the amount of craziness since Dad got him booted out.
