Britney Is Nuts ... About the Gym

Britney SpearsConservatorship wonder Britney Spears is not only working on her mental well-being -- she's getting into good physical shape too!

Brit -- with security, paps and mandatory iced coffee drink in tow -- paid a visit to a Culver City gym on Tuesday.

She's getting back down to her pre-gurney/losing her babies/rehab/head-shaving/K-Fed/Jason Alexander weight, y'all.

49. yes you idiots...when your hairline is on the top of your head, thats bald, you friggin morons.
its probably a reaction from the doctors cutting thru her scalp and skull to do the lobotomy.

She walks through the parking lot.

51. What about that hairline?
You could write a story on it.
Doesn't she realize how bad it looks?

A little over one year ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.35 a gallon;
3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.
4) The stock market was at an all time high

Since voting in a Democratic controlled Congress in 2006 we have seen:

1) Confidence in Washington plummet;
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.50 a gallon;
3) Unemployment up to 5.5%;
4) Over $3 trillion in stock market equity value evaporate
5) Home equity drop by $2 trillion dollars;
6) Almost 2% of American homes now in foreclosure;
7) The dollar reach an all time low against the Euro;
8) China and Saudi Arabia buying our defaulting banks.

America voted for "change" in 2006 and so far this is what we've got.

53. And, she doesn't even want her (as Sarah Silverman called them) adorable little mistakes.

54. A former young singer named Brit
Is the butt of our insolent wit.
We bash and dismiss her
And insult her and diss her,
But she says she does not give a ding dang.

55. To thinker guy person: so think about it: by your logic, if we don't vote for a change in 2008, we'll just keep getting more of what we've had since 2006.

58. Opps, I meant funny how things turned around for her once she got the leeches out of her house.

59. You folks all need to leave Britney alone!! The poor lady has severe mental problems and is lucky to be out of the hospital. The career is over and that is that but the human being behind the career is alive. TMZ does not need to be pointing out all the weird things she is doing. The funny foreign voice is just a voice she hears in her head. Hanging around mens bathrooms and going to convenience stores these are all part of her illness. She was the real deal long ago and we should remember her for those good times before the mental illness!!!!

60. I agree with most of what you're saying, Big Bear (currently message number 61). However, I want to make some related points.

First of all, none of us really know much about Britney's actual mental state. However, if we look back at her life, it's clear that the poor girl has never been able to function very effectively in the adult world. Since she first was out on her own, she's made one badly-thought-out, self-destructive decision after another. She was acting against her own interests for years, even before K-Fed came into her life. I believe that this is because she never had a chance to grow up, and unfortunately, she's stuck at an early-adolescent emotional level. Also, I'm sad to say, Britney isn't very intelligent, and this just exacerbates the difficulties she has in dealing with life.

However, its a moot point as to whether this is a bona fide case of mental illness or just an instance of someone not very smart who never grew up. In either case, the sad fact is that the challenges of real life have been too much for Britney to handle, at least up to now.

Although I share your belief that Britney has already passed the high point of her career, there is still hope for the girl. If she really wants to have some sort of life as an entertainer, or at least as a public figure, there are still possibilities, even if she may not get quite as far as attaining Ultimate Top Number One Super-Star status again.

We love stories of redemption and triumph, and if Britney pulls herself together makes some sort of positive comeback (in other words, if she does at least a passable job), she will be gratefully received and lovingly applauded by most of us who have been following her saga.
