Brit May Club for a Living

Sources tell TMZ Britney Spears is in negotiations with Bally Total Fitness to be a frontwoman for the company -- and backwoman, too!


Here's what we know. Brit's parents have both been talking to Bally about making a deal. Daddy Jamie has the power as co-conservator to make it happen. It all happened because Larry Rudolph, who is coming back to manage the Britster, has a close friendship with John Wildman, the Chief Marketing Officer of Bally.

During the negotiations, Brit has been going to the club at least once a day and up to as many as three times a day. She's training with two of the company's top personal trainers -- we're guessing one for the front and one for the back. She's also working with the company's nutritionist, who has put Britney on five to six quality meals a day. No Taco Bell, no Fanta ... life can really suck.

As of now, there is no deal -- just negotiations. We're told she isn't getting any money yet, but she's working out for free. As a company insider put it to us, "We're more interested in Britney Spears' health than her $19."

61. Wow she was on the tradmill for 1 minute WALKING..then the bike for 30 seconds. This fat skank aint getting fit...plus she and her assistant look like fools wearing sunglasses. This skank shoudl Nver be a spokesperson for ANYTHING besised PAXIL and cheap wine, much less fitness.

64. Who workout’s with sunglasses besides Brit? Brit working out with sunglasses isn’t making you look cool… I also wanted to point out that if Brit didn't want the paparazzi to see her working out at the gym why would she use a public gym to workout. You'd think with all the money that she has she'd have her own private gym at her house..

65. Well, it seems to me that Britney might be a good "Before - After" exemplar for Bally's. We can see that she still has a way to go before she's in shape again. If the Bally's crew can take her from where she's at now and get her back to something close to her old body, then this can be used in their ads as a way to market the idea that they can work wonders with our bodies, as well.

Even if Bally's ultimately decides not to use Britney as their spokesperson, if they are seen to be one of the driving forces behind her getting back to something resembling her old self, that will definitely sell memberships. In this case, forgoing Britney's $19/month fee and dedicating a few trainers to her is a good investment for the company.

67. She may put up a show of working out there and "being fit", but being fit means being healthy in the trinity of mind-body-soul. These hollywwod skinnies are NOT fit, they use 100s of unhealthy ways to be *thin*. Pills, smoking, crash diets, surgeries, fake tans, fake hair, fake teeth, fake skin, fake, fake, fake. That is the opposite of being fit, it is the definition of *unhealthy*. Britney has months of work ahead of her before she is "cured" or "better" or in the position of being the spokesperson for anything. There are no 2-week or 2-month solutions to becoming healthy or happy.

I think it is very likely that Bally Total Fitness may soon go the way of "Total Fitness by Jamie," the failed fitness club business Pa Spears had after his failed construction contracting business and before his failed restaurant business. I think Bally is still under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission for their creative accounting practices and they also filed for bankruptcy protection not too long ago. Pa Spears certainly a knack for business failures and so I am not surprised that he is in talks with Bally to saddle Brit up as their frontwoman. That should get her some attention and allow the media to humiliate her more and drag her through the gutter when Bally folds.

75. WOW! I'm really surprised, however this is a great thing for her mentally and physically. Working out and also learning about nutrition will benfit her greatly for the rest of her life if she sticks to it.
