20. I hate to say it but the way she was acting even if she was sick, someone has to pay for all the lawyers she needs to get her out of the mess she is in. She has the money so it want be a big deal to her.

25. Brit needs to pay the fees -- maybe she can sue Sam Lufti to recover some of her losses -- the fact of the matter is, her meltdown caused this whole mess, and Lufti helped. Sorry, Brit, this was your making. As for the actual fee amounts, they're exorbitant. Maybe CA needs some tort reform to fix that.

26. Good. britney herself caused all of this and now she has to pay. All the times she didnt show up to court, missed her deposition etc. They did the work, they deserve to get paid.

I agree she should pay for being a bad mother and so should every person who ever does anything bad to their children, or makes a mistake, or lets their kid fall down, or puts them in a situation that is dangerous (ie, sending them to school, leaving them with a sitter, letting them go to their friends houses, driving them, letting them participate in sports). Come on people there is no reason she should have to fork up $10,000 a week for a court appointed attorney when those losers don't make more than $60,000 a year, does this mean the government is paying $10,000 per week for court appointed attorney because if so I'm going back to finish law school. And the co-conservator gets $100,000 I thought they were supposed to be keeping her from spending ridiculous amount of money.
Hey people I can't stand the girl but even I can see that they are taking her for a ride and guess what that's money that could be going to her kids not a bunch of leeches.

29. I vote , that the socialist california court system , equally distribute the fees paid to the court appoited attorney & kaplan , k fed lawyer, to all california residents. I could use the money to pay debt.
