22. Dita is an amazingly beautiful artiste. She is strong and confident with her sensuality/sexuality; and that frightens a lot of people in our buttoned-down, repressive society. No matter what she is doing, she manages to pull it off looking like a Goddess!

The industry is constantly trying to rip off women. Good for her for stepping up and making the slimebags actually fulfill their sides of contractual obligations. No matter what you do for a living, when you go to work, you expect to be paid in a timely manner. If you pay for a piece of custom-built equipment, you have every right to expect it to be fully functional to your exact specifications. In this case, the swan malfunctioned almost right "out of the box". (apparently, it worked for rehearsals.) If he refuses to fix it, she's right to sue.

28. NaughtyCal Enchantress your totally right. Society is built on male standards and male superiority... If a woman takes control of her life and is successful at it then she is considered a whore or a bitch. Alot of so called Men cant handle women who are stong in their own sexuality... and a few weak willed women who have been brainwashed by male society standards go along without questioning these beleifs.
Jdog is a perfect example as he stated in his #36 comment. "former hooker/pole dancer" Notice it always comes down to calling a woman a hooker aka "whore" when they cant come up with a well reasoned arguement.
Dita Von Teese is a perfect example of a smart woman taking control and responsibility for her own affairs without depending on a man.....That fact alone scares men.
