Lets Get This Party Started
Nanny's Folks -- Lowe Worked Her to the Bone

TMZ may have learned that Rob Lowe's nanny is a party girl and likes her some older man love, but, predictably enough, her family is trying to paint her as a saint.

In that People interview that we told you about yesterday, Jessica Gibson's dad says that the Lowes made her work "ridiculous" hours and that he was "shocked" when he heard about the Lowe blows. Likewise, the mom says that it's "absurd" to suggest that she tried to extort the Lowes for $1.5 million (we hear otherwise). Look Ma – no hands ... in the honeypot!

Papa Simpson Pimpin' Out Unborn Grandchild?

Joe Simpson was never shy about making a quick buck – or a hundred thousand – off his girls, and now he might have another kid to shill for some easy coin.

Ashlee might or might not be preggers, but Joe is already trying to cash in on the rumored baby, says the New York Post, offering up the baby pics for a cool mil. Problem is, no one really cares about Ash's kid, and one mag editor said she's more likely to corral $60K.

Of course, maybe the Simpsons are smarter than we think: all the speculation comes just a week before Ash's new album pops out.

Party Favors: Oprah Does Vegas ... Naomi Not Being Begged by BA ... Kareem Says "Horton" is the Ultimate Evil

Oprah Winfrey is taking her show to Las Vegas, says Vegas Confidential, and her guests will be Tina Turner and Cher, which is about as much diva fabulosity as one stage can contain. ... Naomi Campbell hasn't been asked back by BA, says the Evening Standard, despite rumors that she's suddenly back in the airline's good graces after her tantrum and arrest a couple weeks ago. ... Kareem Abdul-Jabbar writes on his blog that "Horton Hears a Who" is essentially the root of all social evil right now. Seriously, just read it. We can't make this stuff up.

17. Well TMZ, it looks like a higher percentage of your readers agree with Kareem instead of you (including me). That's because his points are absolutely right on. Where do you get off? I'm losing more and more respect (what little there is left) for your company. Let's hope that you snarked just to get people to read it. If that's the case, you're forgiven.

18. WHY DOESN'T ROB LOWE FILE CRIMINAL CHARGES IF HE WAS EXTORTED FOR SUCH HUGE MONEY?? HIS LAME EXPLANATION IS NOT BELIEVABLE.

GET PAST YOUR HATRED OF WOMEN AND JEALOUSY

ROB LOWE IS NOT INNOCENT IN THIS SITUATION.

19. Kareem totally misses the point of the movie..." person's a person no matter how small"
As for the Mayor preening over his son, just look at any parent...they all favor their male children over their daughters...
get real...can we just once enjoy a movie, especially an animated one and not fish for hidden agendas...I suppose we are expected to believe that all kangaroos are evil as well?

Hey Kareem...stfu would ya please???

20. Who cares about Simpson. If she is pregnant, so what? Just another unwed pregnant young woman who didn't know what a condom was for.
Rob Lowe did put forth a court case you idiot, that's why this all started he tried to beat the moneywh*** to the punch.
And as for Oprah, who's trying to create her own little world beginning with Obama....just call the show "Geriatric Diva's United".
I think a really cool show would be those two guests plus Whitney Houston, Madonna, Cindy Lauper, and Dolly Parton having a slumber party!! Now that would be interesting.

21. I will never forget watching Jessica's show, the newlyweds, when her, her dad and nick were watching a very sexy (I guess) video that she had just finished. she was slinking around in water or something in a bikini. ok the camera pans to her dad who is placing a pillow on his lap. He was getting turned on by his daughters video. Every time I see his ugly face now I want to puke! He is a sick, sick man!

22. Hmm...Horton and the Who are bad for kids to watch, but I'll bet if I looked at the DVD collection sitting out near your big screen TV I'd find some really racy and raunchy titles, not to mention the video games in your kid's room.
(my two all time favorites were Earth worm Jim and Redneck Rampage actually).
I walked into a friend's house and her 8 year old daughter was watching "sex in the city". But you're worried about Horton?
Do you know how many children's parents drag them to the movie theater with them to watch "R" rated movies?
No...there's not one bit of racism, sex, or homophobic inuendos in those movies. But let's start a mission against Horton.
Just like the crap started by all the religious do-gooders over Harry Potter and Golden Compass.
Wake UP!!!!! Stupidity is rampant!!!

23. About Kareems opinion... so why not support Hillary for president to show the youth of america that not only can a man be president but so can a woman? Because that seems to be what he was pointing out from the movie. I myself took my kids to the movies, ages 7and6. And they cheered for the boy who saved the whos. Because as a parent I taught them that some movies are just not real. They make them for entertainment purposes only. You dont go watch a movie to teach a lesson, its for entertainment purposes. But thats just my opinion!

24. #7 Wendy - you took the words right out of my head! It is so uplifting to hear a man be aware of the sexism that is out there and the fact is - we accept it everyday and no one ever speaks up about it!!

25. Jo-Ann~ Where have you been living and, what century have you been living in? "Just look at any parent, they all favor their male children over their daughters"! What are you talking about?

Woman, wake the hell up............it is 2008 and women are running corporations!

26. If Lowe's party girl nanny is so saintly, why go public disparaging her former employer? There are other ways this could have been settled. If he was allegedly crossing her boundaries, she could have easily moved on to other employment. If the hours were ridiculous, she could have found other employment with hours that more suited her. Where is her own accountability, to herself?
Oh, yeah, it seems to be in the amount she probably hopes to sue him for. Ahhhh. Let's point the finger at the moneyed employer and make him responsible for her personal decision making and for the way she chose to set up her own life. He has money and a past rep, he can afford it.....IMHO.

27. ...That being said, it could be 'where there's smoke, there's fire', where Mr. Lowe is concerned. I guess she was so offended that she ran right away after SEVEN YEARS...pffft.

28. I've never, ever seen a young woman look so devilishly almost sinister and pleased with herself on camera whilst pleading sexual harrassment. This is not just nervous smiling, IMHO. I thought I was a good read on faces; I could be wrong here, but...

30. *ILOVECELEBRITYCRAP* You are exactly the reason we have to put baby on board signs in our cars, and keep such a vigilant eye on our children. People like you who do not like kids really, really scare me.
