Kanye's Mom Didn't Have Son's Jack

Kanye West has filed legal papers in the estate of his mom, Donda, who tragically died after a plastic surgery procedure last November.

In the legal papers, filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Donda's assets are listed at $150,000. Interesting, since Donda worked as Kanye's manager.

Donda died without a will. Kanye is the sole beneficiary, and has asked that family friend Shawn Gee, a music industry exec, be named as the co-administrator of the estate.

31. To # 18, The word " JACK" is a slang term meaning money. The headline means Kanye' s Mom basicaly died without having much money... They used this term in an attempt to be clever because Kanye sings Hip Hop music , which uses a lot of slang terms...Hope this helps...

Kanye is a very intelligent young Black man and all of you haters' get a life. I pray that for those of you that even care how much money she had or didnt have will get a revelation that it doesnt matter to him he doesnt need whatever she had because he has all he will ever need. Legally, I do not blame him, remember George doesnt like Black folks so therefore I would only give them what is owed to them and he should go on with his life.

38. It's horrible to loose your mother whether your Kanye West or the Unibomber. But it really gotta stick it in and break it off loosing your mother during a plastic surgery procedure. I mean Jeeze. People will do anything to look a bit younger. even risk death. and they even tell you there's a slight chance you can die.. but it's really very slight...we'll..looks like she came under the very slight catagory sorry to say.

39. Well, it makes sense. I'm sure Kanye took care of his mother, and why should he have to pay an inheritance tax on money he ALREADY earned? Why should ANYONE? Thats double taxation. Good for him. If I could do it I would too. He probably put her house in his name, that'd be the smart thing to do. And he probably had a bank account in both their names, etc. I'm sure his mother didn't want for anything. I don't particularly care for the guy myself, but I've got to give him credit here.
So before anyone starts "dissin" the man, ask yourself, if you were in his position, what would YOU do? He's the sole beneficiary, so he must not have any siblings. He's just keeping what he earned, and I don't see anything wrong with that.

40. It is possible if her son bought her things such as the house and car they are either under his name or listed jointly. If she is the joint account holder and he is listed 1st it won't show on her assets. It is a shame she had to die so young
