LAPD Lets Levine Skate

Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine was pulled over for one of the lamest offenses out there: Driving around in his sweet Aston Martin with no license plates.

He had the plates in his glove compartment -- but while most would get at least a fix-it ticket, the gigolo singer was let off scot-free.

1. Jeez, no1 in LA has license plates! It's convenient when you want to blow through a red light with a huge camera mounted up on it.

8. CA needs to get their act together and modify Vehicle Code Section 5200 that requires a front license plate. This removal would save the state in manufacturing, shipping, storage, and disposal costs. Also, it would allow our police officers to spend their time on more serious traffic crimes such as drunk driving, speeding, and freeway shootings. 20 other states have already abolished this law and CA should follow suit. Motorcycles aren't required to display a front plate. Why should passenger vehicles?
