34. There are so good Rappers out there. do not think that all rappers, rap about killing. some of them rap about the world what's going in our world today. People killing each other etc. That wouldn't be right if someone said something that is not true about Alica. I feel that people should get there facts right before they say anything. a people don't have to be in a gang to kill someone.

35. shana, you are absolutely right, there are some brilliant artistis in the industry such as Will i Am and others, who are politically, socially, and intellectuaklly involved in making a global inmapt through their work and altrustic endeavors. But, they are not the focus of this piece, and furthermore, they are so far removed from the likes of 50 Cent, Snoop Dog, the Aryan hate groups, the criminal hate groups, the homophobic hate groups, the mysogynist hate groups, and the manyothers iknvolved in bringing down the entire global moral, intellectual, and cultural fibre that it would be insulting to the aforementioned true artists to even involve them in such a discussion.

I appreciate your defence of reputable artists, but Will i Am's songs for Senator Obama will live on for a long time lifting the spirits and minds of a generation, what in turn can be said of those individuals discussed in this specific article, that is the entire point of the discussion.

No one is insulting or condeming true artistry, only hate or criminal glorification, for profit.

37. Not all rappers are bad and glorify violence just for the sake of projecting how tough they are. Alicia Keys could have expressed her viewpoint better but most of us get her point. Don't you think It's about time someone in the black community took a stand and called out the negative element of the music scene. It takes a log of guts especially for a woman to do what she did. Too bad the men don't have the balls to step up to the plate and take a stand. Probably because they are making too much money off these tough guys to really care about how it impacts the community, their neighborhoods. When money talks it's easy to ignore the obvious.
