Brit's Hair: The Roots of All Evil

Take a look at Britney's mess of a 'do -- can you believe she went to the salon two days ago? Someone needs her money back!

The weaved wonder burned cash and calories yesterday, dropping some dough at Burberry before hitting the gym for a business meeting workout.

46. Well, it's gratifying to know that no one has to pay for expensive psychotherapy for Britney. All she has to do is get a nice hair style and lots of you folks will say that she's cured.

What a bunch of superficial airheads.

47. Why does she always look like a skank & dress like a hooker? I mean the no talent twit makes $700,000 a month & does nothing to earn it for pete's sake! Grow a brain & get a stylist or somebody who at least has some taste.

Uh, susan, care to explain how you figure TMZ and "other reporters" are responsible for Britney losing her kids? The rest of us are kinda thinking maybe it's because the court imposed conditions on Britney (ya know, get a license, fence the pool, cooperate with the custody evaluator, stop snorting the white stuff), and Brit just blew off the court. So please explain, did TMZ and the paps keep Brit from getting a license? prevent her from installing a safety fence around her pool? ignoring the phone calls from the lab to come in a give a sample? stop her from answering the doorbell when the custody evaluator showed up? Gee, we wanna know.

51. To the moron that wrote #48. Walk out your door tomorrow, have hundreds of cars and reporters following you every single solitary place you go for years. Never ending, never ceasing and see if you don't go insane. Your already a moron, but a stalked moron wouldn't last long. This not so bright Spears has been driven insane buy the greedy monsters trying to make money off of the woman. I care nothing about her music, talent or otherwise, but the insanity of not letting her live at all should absolutely be illegal. They say now it killed Princess Diana....................THIS STALKING HAS GOT TO END. Idiots like you have 0 heart.

Harvey Levin is a puke.

52. Susan, I think that you are conflating two unrelated things: (1) that Britney is dumb and irresponsible and refused to comply with court orders, and (2) that the paps are overbearing and out of control.

Neither of these items implies the other. There are plenty of celebrities who are surrounded by paps who fulfill their adult responsibilities in the world and who easily follow court orders when they are subject to them. And there are plenty of dumb, immature people who are not celebrities who couldn't manage their affairs in a responsible manner if their lives depended on it.

Britney would have just as much trouble following court orders if there wasn't a pap within light years of her.

And in any case, Britney _courted_ the paps. She went out of her way to be the center of their attention, and she didn't take the precautions that most celebrities take in order to minimize the paps' ability to get close to them (drivers, bodyguards, personal assistants running their errands, etc). When Jamie came into the picture, he followed a few simple procedures, and now, the paps find it much more difficult to get close to Britney. Britney could have also done that when she was on her own, but she _refused_.

I'm amazed at the lengths some people go through to try to avoid acknowledging that Britney should be responsible for _anything_. To these people, everything that happens to her should be made into someone else's fault, and she's just a spoiled princess who can do whatever she wants without one, single consequence to her. Furthermore, _others_ are always expected to clean up the destruction she leaves in her wake.

I'm sure that this is how some of these people try to live; i.e., they are just as immature as Britney, and they always try to weasel out of taking responsiblity for anything in their own lives. Part of the reason they worship their Pop Princess is because she is at the same pre-teen emotional level as they are.

53. To Sweetyy: if you really want to support Britney, then I suggest that you use your web site as a way to encourage people to donate money to help pay for all of the problems she created for herself and others due to her inability to function responsibly.

The words of support that you and the others write on that site are nice, and if Britney reads them, I'm sure she'll feel good. But she needs more than just words. She has caused millions of dollars of costs to be incurred through her bad choices and irresponsible, immature behavior, and she has done a lot of damage to her career and earning potential because of this behavior. Her conservators are trying to put her life in order, and they're also trying to get her on a track where she's earning a decent amount of money again, so that she doesn't go bankrupt. Those of you who care about Britney would help her a lot if you would join together and donate your own money for her, because she needs a lot of it.

It's also likely that once the conservatorship is over, Britney will go back to her irresponsible ways, and therefore, she will need even more money coming in to maintain her life as a Pop Princess who never has to deal with the expensive consequences of her own choices and actions. Therefore, you and the rest of her supporters should each plan on making a long-term financial commitment to Britney, because she'll need money in the future even more than she needs it now, and because the things she likes to spend money on are not cheap.

As I mentioned, your web site provides a good place for you folks to come together and organize this much-needed financial support for your beloved Britney.

55. She should take those stupid extensions out. They damage and break your hair. They are also heavy and make your hair fall out.
Britney would look much better with her own natural hair. Cut it short and cute, (like Paris's new do) and then let it grow naturally.
For occaisional extra length, use clip in extensions like Jessica Simpson't new line. They don't damage hair.

56. *yawn* you're so boring TMZ... I'm also sorry I clicked on this but since I did I'll leave a comment. The girls hair is growing back. Big Whoop. We all know she's wearing extensions on her short hair growth. She was working out... her hair was in a ponty tail and then she took it out. Most girls hair looks a little stuck to the head after that. Don't you have better things to do then report on someone's hair. Oh excuse me, but it's BRITNEY's hair!! Sooo stupid.

57. To astrid00star: What are you talking about? A hairstyle is the most important thing IN THE WORLD!

A person's mind doesn't matter. Their values don't matter. The choices they make don't matter. All that is superficial fluff.

But if you want to go deep, deep, DEEP into a person and see what they are really made of, then focus all your attention on their hairstyle.

There are secondary attributes of a person, such has a person's body-fat ratio, how tight their tummy is, and in the case of a woman, how pretty her face is, and how her t*ts and a** look. Taking these secondary (but still hugely important) factors into account in addition to the singularly vital hairstyle will help to give you a multidimensional picture of each and every person.

The Scientologists have one thing right, but for the wrong reason. They say that psychotherapy is worthless, but then they get side-tracked from the basic universal truth that we should remember: that whenever a person seems to be suffering from emotional difficulties, all that is necessary is to fix their hair really nice, and they will be totally and irrevocably cured -- at least until it's time for the next visit to the stylist.

Therefore, Jamie Spears and the conservatorship are wasting their money trying to help Britney with a lot of psychotherapy. Thank God that TMZ and many of the readers here have their priorities straight: they all know that when Britney gets her hair in order, that means that she'll then be Totally Recovered.

Nothing else about her matters at all.

59. OOPS ... sorry for the double post. The first one didn't show up for a while, so I re-sent it after some minor rewording.

But in any case, you can never overstate how VITALLY IMPORTANT a person's hairstyle is, so it's just as well that I posted this twice.

60. u'know, the more i read comments on this site the more it seems to resemble, much like office life does, the behavior of elementary school children. i mean, c'mon, "her hair is nasty and smells". people are just plain mean. not just to britney but in every day life. if you don't conform to what every one thinks you should be then you're nitpicked until you're forced to pretend to be conforming. on some levels, i relate to britney. on other levels, like ones where she claims the paps are so horrible and yet flaunts around in front of them all the time, i just will never be able to relate to her. if they are really such a distressing problem, then sit down and think about what you could do to change it. in the Dateline interview a couple years ago, when asked what she thinks should be done about them, all she did was give a tearful "i don't know". that has always spoken volumes for me.
