151. Mary-Kate (no relation), I don't know what your problem is with how I choose to spend my time. It's my time. It seems as if everyone is believing Drew's misreading of my comments. I know the evils of scientology from my own experiences. I took one of their "personality exams" when I was a freshman in college. I was told that if I did not join them and follow their orders, I would be dead within five years but I would be safe if I gave everything I had to them including my mind. I decided I would rather take my chances on the outside and keep my thoughts my own. Over the last thirty plus years I have never regretted that decision and I clearly have proven them wrong.
There has never been a question in my mind that they are a cult and their members are misguided at best and evil at worst.
Victoria: If you try to find the sources for the rumors that Anonymous is connected to Al Quaeda, you will find that they lead straight back to the cult of scientology. Of course, it is a serious accusation. That is why the leaders of scientology have spread the rumor through the anonymity of the internet. They are hoping to discredit one of the few organizations that have had any success at fighting them.
As far as this cult is concerned, it's worse than a tax shelter. The origin of scientology was a bar bet. According to someone I know who was present on the occasion, John W. Campbell (editor of the science fiction magazine, Analog), L. Ron Hubbard and several other science fiction writers. Campbell claimed that the average person was so gullible that it was impossible to create a religion that no one would believe. Hubbard disagreed and bet Campbell that he could. He subsequently created scientology and found out he was wrong. He lost the $50 bet but won billions from the pockets of fools. I didn't learn this until after I rejected scientology on first principles but it certainly reinforced my belief that anyone who joins that cult is a pure, grade A, idiot.

152. Boston Belle is very INFORMED and very FACTUAL. L.RON HUBBARD was a lunatic and when he died there were many psycotic drugs found in his system. He did not practice what he preached. He was insane, and you don't have to believe me just read the interview that his son gave to playboy magazine in the 80's . You can find it on a google search. It is not only fasinating it is very disturbing. He tried to abort his own child with a coat hanger.

This is indeed a vile, corupt cult that preys on the weak , vulnerable and lost souls that are looking for guidence. Everyone should RUN out and buy Andrew Morton's autobiography on TOM CRUISE . He exposes this cult for what it truely is........SCARY !!!!! Good work Boston Belle. Keep blogging and spread the word where ever you can. My cousins life was nearly distoyed by Scientology. He ran and never looked back and that is why he is still here today.

157. laughing, You didn't go back far enough. Try rereading from post 107 if you want the real story. Drew attacked in 109. I called him on his insults in post 113 although I agreed with him in principle. Drew's post 119 accused me of supporting scientology and suggested that 'suri is beautiful' and I were the same person. This accusation made me angry since I have opposed scientology for more than half my life for the reasons I gave in my last post. I disagreed with poster 121, Dana, because he seemed to be supporting Drew's attacks while at the same time saying that everyone should be allowed to express an opinion. If I misinterpreted Dana's remarks, I regret it and apologize for the misunderstanding. Post 126, Mary-Kate tried to tell me how I should spend my time as if I should listen. I defended my right to post and explained my position and the reasons for it, i.e. why I despise scientology, in post 151. There were several other posts in the middle but those will give you the gist. If you look at the time stamps, you will see that several hours have passed between my posts on occasion so clearly I am not spending all my time on TMZ. Actually, I spend a lot of my computer time playing Solitaire.

The WIse Old Owl, Thank you for your support. I'm glad your cousin survived his ordeal. I hope that everyone who knows the truth will speak out against the evils of scientology.

162. The $cientology trolls are out in full force Boston Belle, and they don't like what you're saying. Unfortunately for them it's all true and the nightmare that is their reputation just keeps getting worse. A Gallup poll just revealed that they are THE most disliked "religion" in America. Jason Beghe, the first $cientologist celebrity to ever leave the cult and tell what he knows, has had a devastating effect, the Cruise book and leaked orientation video removed all doubt that he's a nut, thousands protest each month and try as they might, $cientology has been unsuccessful in getting an injunction to stop Anonymous, David Miscavige's own niece is now speaking out about the horrors she went through as a kid in $cientology (www.exscientologykids.com), Belgium authorities have filed charges against the cult for being a "criminal organization" and raided their offices last week, and NOW, on top of everything else, a 20 year old Norweigan girl is conned into taking the $cientology bogus "personality test" and proceeds to kill herself when they give her the results.
So yeah, the cult is a little pissy at the moment, and regardless of what they may say here, they are not laughing at anything.

165. Melinda, I know you're right that they will do anything they can to stop people from telling the truth about them. I am worried about what they may try to do to me and my family if they ever got my real name. I hope TMZ has the balls to tell them to take a flying leap when they try to get our real identities out of them. Even so, I cannot stay silent knowing what they are doing to people on a daily basis. There is an old saying "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. The evil which is scientology will not triumph if anything I can do will help stop them.
