Katie Price: A Pox on All of You Chickens

U.K. celebutard Katie Price definitely has her priorities in order -- shop, eat, shop some more with her kid...then take the tot to the doctor to deal with her..... chicken pox!

The chavtastic skank (think Pam Anderson meets Paris Hilton with a British accent) and hubby Peter Andre took daughter Princess Tiaamii (yeah, that's her real name) to Urgent Care yesterday -- but not before Price picked up some lingerie at the Grove, ate lunch at the Ivy and pimped the baby out for a pap-fueled Robertson Blvd shopping spree.

The parents never got sick of the attention ... poor Princess just looked sick. Hope the paps already had their pox.

61. Don't you idiots vaccinate your kids for chicken pox in England? It's been available in the States since 1995.

63. Poor kid doesn't stand a chance. Idiot parents, no looks and a stupid name. She can alway copy her parents and change her name and looks. Unfortunately for her getting rid of Jordan and Peter might not be so easy.

64. OMG what a bunch of mean, overcritical , probably hypocritical people on this site. Yeah she was wrong for taking her kid out when she was ill but how many of u mothers aint traipsed round a sick kid to the store cause u ran out of milk or something HUH ? Yeah someone should look into how they managed to get an obviously sick kid on an international flight on that I agree. They do give shots in the UK for chickenpox but u know what I still got them & so did 2 of my kids & my husband all at the same time & they were all given the shots in the USA just because u have been vaccinated against something don't mean u will never get it it just cuts the likely hood of it happening to u. As for the lil girl OMG u people should be ashamed of yourselves she is a child how many of u lot have picture perfect kids ?

65. Yes I agree, stupid to be dragging a pox baby out in public, possibly spreading disease and possibly making the baby worse off.

But you idotitic people who are complaining about the vaccine issue...
You do not know the baby's health history, allergies, illness's and pre-existing health conditions can be a reason it is not safe to vaccinate a certain child.
2 doses of the vaccine are required for the most effectiveness. The first 12 and 15 months and the second dose between the ages of 4 and 6 years. She was born in June 2007, she is not yet a year. Not at the age the vaccine is due to be given yet!
And if she was old enough to be vaccinated, about 15% of people fully vaccinated do not develop the protection against the pox. This number can vary depending on what reports you read because not every person gets their titers (a check of how well a vaccine has worked) tested.

My son is 5 and gets his titers checked after a time after every vaccination because he has very bad asthma and illness's make it worse. He has been vaccinated twice for pox and has zero protection against it. So he can still get pox. His immunologist said that the pox vaccine is one that has the least chance of working out of all the other childhood vaccines.

That being said, Peter and Katie seem to be very ill-imformed parents to be taking their baby out for shopping and lunch and whatnot in her condition and I don't have any respect for them at all in this situation.

66. Who are these people? British pop stars? British rich people wannabe celebs?????
Sorry, all I can say is I am so glad I had the parents I had!
Poor little girl, take her home and hide her when she isn't feeling well and looks awful. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE GOING TO PARADE HER AROUND THE GROVE! I am sure she is a darling child when she feel good and is healthy. THEN show her off...oh whoops! maybe she would be too cute and we wouldn't notice you...
The thumbs up thing was soooo obvious you were glad the psps showed up, well, after you called them..cuz you obviously couldn't get a sitter for your poxie little spaun......

67. ...sorry for the spelling errors, proof reading skills need to be improved!

"when the 'paps' showed up"
"when she 'feels' good"

Thanks!

68. Gianna, just for clarification. I am a mother and I have never taken my children out of the house when they were sick except to the doctor's office when they needed to go which means only for bacterial infections for which they needed antibiotics. Thank God that wasn't often. Yes, there are mothers who don't have the sense God gave a flea but they should be educated in proper childcare before the children are really hurt.

69. Firstly, Gianna (#64), we do not routinely vaccine against chicken pox in British, a vaccine is available and it is offered to healthcare workers who may come into contact with the disease whilst not immune which represents about 10% of the adult population. We don't vaccine kids as it's not needed as generally it isn't a serious condition and as most of us end up with it during childhood the danger to pregnant women and the elderly is limited.

Back on subject, I find the way many people have called the baby 'ugly' very distasteful. She isn't a beauty but she is far from ugly and more importantly, she is a baby - calling her ugly is in my opinion nasty and vicious and totally uncalled for. Say what you like about the parents (I agree with all the criticism of their parenting skills) but quit the comments about how the little girl looks, society is far too beauty driven especially so it seems your side of the world, no wonder half of Americans* are plastic fantastic. Beauty is more than what's on the surface, no wonder you lot don't get irony - far too shallow...

*half may be a slight under estimate.
