The 68-year-old giant talent resurfaced at a Vegas event on Saturday, looking nice.
At nearly 7'2", Kiel suffers from a hormonal condition called acromegaly.
Richard has four children with his second wife.

33. The Keils lived across the street from me when I was growing up in the San Gabriel Valley. I used to baby sit the kids. Very, very nice family. They event took me on a promotion tour for Moonraker as their nanny. They are very, very nice people.
I can't remember if it was Richard in the Twighligh Zone episode but if I recall right he and Ted Cassaday were longtime friends.
I last saw his wife about 7 years ago when she came down for my dad's funeral. I think of them often.

34. He is a nice guy. He lived in the town next to me and his son played against our basketball team. Huge dude, that's for sure! His son is "normal".

35. What a super nice man he is. I met him some years ago waiting for a flight at Burbank airport. He sat there and chatted with us until it was time to board. Very down to earth, very personable, just an all around wonderful person. The world needs more like him.

38. He came and spoke at our church sometime ago and dinner with us afterwards. He could have not been nicer. He really got a kick out of teasing my dad the pastor becouse my dad is not very tall. He even signed a autograph for me andsat next to me all during dinner. Glad to see he is doing well!

39. He is a gentle giant. My daughter at the age of 18 months walked up to him, held her hands out and reached for him. He picked her up, played with her, signed a poster with his autograph and gave me a most incredible memory of that special moment. Thank you Richard!

40. I work for Mr. Kiel, and I know for a fact that he's never been in the Coast Guard and that he is definitely NOT racially biased. Whoever wrote that is grossly mistaken. Also, it was Richard who played the part of the Kanamit in the Twilight Zone episode To Serve Man.
