Steroid Snitch Not Lookin' Over His Shoulder

He may have tried to take down some of baseball's biggest names with his accusations of steroid use, but Jason Grimsley acted like nothing ever happened. Maybe that's a side effect of the juice.

Grimsley seemed totally in the clear -- the steroid kind, not the Scientolokind -- last night when we caught up with him outside of the Plumm with owner Noel Ashman. He wasn't even the least bit bothered when we asked him about being on a Biggest Cheats list.

1. Say what you will, but this guy has helped the sport by coming clean about it. Idiots like Bonds and McGwire deserve to go to jail and have any mention of there names erased from baseball history.

3. anyone who still watches baseball believing it isnt "entertainment" needs their heads examined....thats all it is, and ever was---buch of step n fetch it entertainers for the rest of us. they cheat, they juice, they cork, they steal signs, they lie, they are all terrible americans and have never deserved hero or role model status. thank god those days have come to a close. no one really believes its fair play and true hustle anymore..

bonds and clemens, the best at their craft almost of all time, and both as dirty as capone and machine gun kelly.

shame on them and us

4. There have always been players who cheated and those who played it straight. I have to admit that I was fooled by some of them who are now known to have juiced. I could have sworn that Clemens played it straight just as much as I knew that Canseco, McGwire, Sosa and Bonds juiced. I was also surprised by Brian Roberts and Andy Pettitte. But I will not stop watching baseball. Stealing signs has been a part of the game forever, some players cheat on their wives but others don't. Then again, lots of Americans lie, cheat and steal. Is it right? No. But that doesn't make it un-American. I never considered athletes as role models, they're athletes, not gods but I know that many children are as disappointed by this scandal as they were by the Black Sox Gambling Scandal.
Nevertheless, I will continue to watch baseball as I have all my life. Professional, college, high school, little league: I will watch any game for the sheer love of the sport.

5. I knew you would show up here. Any sport is entertainment, and all have players that are not honest and play for the integrity of the game. I mean look at wrestling.

No, I don't watch it was a joke. :)

6. Don't worry, Kelli. Actually, I have watched a little bit of wrestling. Late at night when I don't have the energy to watch anything real the spectacle can be funny. But you're right about sports in general. I'm beginning to think I may actually be a sports junkie since I will watch almost any sport sometimes. But baseball and soccer are the only sports I can stand to sit through an entire game of.
