Al Gets Ready to Rumble

Al ReynoldsStar Jones might be a lawyah, but Al Reynolds is ready for her: TMZ has learned that Al's lawyered up large for his upcoming divorce scrap with Star.

He's hired New York disso-macher Stanford Lotwin, who handled splits for Howard Stern, the Donald, and Diana Ross, among others. Still, according to Reynolds' rep, Howard Bragman, Al "intends to take the high road."

Will it get ugly -- unclear. Reason for breakup -- unclear. Reason for marriage in the first place -- unclear.

Meanwhile, Al's got a busy social schedule, as in social science -- turns out he's a professor at Florida Memorial University where he's finishing off the semester. Who knew?

Sorry, normally I think divorce is a bad thing...but this is what Star gets for A) marrying a guy who "pretended" he didn't know who she was when they met -yeah, right; and B) making her wedding the all important topic of a 4-host tv show.

33. I feel bad for anyone going through a divorce However, allthe comments about Star bieng a failure are silly. She's a lawyer, has had two TV shows and probable made plenty of money. From anything I've heard, this Al guy is and has been steadily employed as well, although maybe not making as much money. As for the failure of the marriage, that usually takes two.

34. No Atheist? How about No God? Star once said on The View she'd never vote for an atheist because they "have no moral compass". (Right from Wrong...)
Given her LYING about her weight loss, LYING about leaving The View, and bragging about her GOD-blessed marriage, I'd say her god is asleep at the wheel !

As always, her ego defeated her. Al first visited Lotwin's office BEFORE the end of the three-year period. He was spotted by a number of people in the building. But Star was so worried about the world realizing she had been a horse's ass by marrying a man who cared nothing about her, that she decided to carry on the charade. At the time, Al was running around all over New York with a young, blonde fellow. So now, because of her ego, she will have to pay to support his lifestyle with his young, white boyfriends. Couldn't happen to a nicer person, Star.

42. Florida Memorial University, formerly Florid Memorial College, is located in Miami, Florida. It is a historically black college, one of the few HBCUs. I actally graduated from there. It has a rich history. James Weldon Johnson attended FMU, which is where he wrote the Black National Anthem "Lift Every Voice and Sing".

If by "most real" you mean a vainglorious famewhore who lied at every turn; who, once she FINALLY found a man, bored everyone to tears with daily stories of how much in LUUUUV, they were; embarrassed herself and every black person in America by acting like a ghetto hoodrat, shamelessly trolling for freebies for her weddinlg, even though she was taking home a paycheck of $2 million -- then yes, I agrees she was the "most real."
