Little (Brooke) White Lies

After last night's disastrous, forgetful performance, Brooke White said the words had never gotten away from her on "Idol" before ... oh really? Because it felt like Groundhog Day to us.

Nothing like fibbing for a little sympathy to get a few extra, much needed votes, right?

76. I don't care if this is the first time "the words got away from her", it IS the second time she's had to start over, for whatever the reason. It's unprofessional, I don't think it's cute, and I don't think she should keep getting a pass when the other contestants haven't had to start over.

77. No matter if it was a mistake, she was praised each time for stopping and starting over. In the case of "Every Breath You Take" Randy said he liked the fact that she started over & called it "professional". Last night both he and Simon said it was good for her to do that, Simon said he would have chosen to do the same thing. Paula is the only one who did not like it. I am not a fan of hers, I am all for David Cook, all the rest lull me to sleep.

78. This has got to be the most boring Idol season yet! Granted they can all hold a tune but they are all so boring. The only real excitement was when Danny Noreiga was on .....granted he is not someone I would choose to win the grand prize but at least he kept the show exciting. Same with Sanjia, he couldn't sing but still we couldn't wait to see what he did next. And whoever is in charge with the song choices these poor kids are being given to choose from needs to be fired. Get rid of these old fogies who are hooked on these old singers that nobody wants to see or hear anymore. AI needs to hire some new people with fresh ideas and maybe a new judge or two!

79. Besides David Cook knowing how to sing better than most people I have heard ... not just on Idol... he is the hottest guy ever on AI... Great to have 2 things about Idol to look forward too!!!!!

81. I think that the judges picked David Archuleta to win from the very beginning. I like Brooke. I like Syesha. I like Carly. I like the guys too. David was not as good as the girls last night, but Randy says he's the one to beat. They have really been hard on the girls all along. David Cook, I can't stand. He may sing good, but he does have an attitude! Plus some of you people are really stupid and don't have a clue about people or their personal;ities., so shut up.

82. Trisha... what do you know about David Cook and an attiude... thats a little hypocritical to say others dont know when you dont either!

83. For those that were correct, in that it was the first time she lost the lyrics, pat yourself on the back. The other time that the writer is refering to was clearly a beginning in the wrong key which she immediately corrected. When you are a professional writer, you should know what you are talking about before you say someone is a liar. Brooke is certainly not the best singer at this point, but I believe she is a very good singer, beautiful, and the kind of nice person I would trust children with. I've been in the music business for 35 years and learned a long time ago that it is not always the best singer that becomes famous. People relate to "nice". It won't surprise me if Brooke survives for another week.

84. So, my brother works for Fox and frequents a place where all the Idol hopefuls and judges hang out. Apparently Brooke and Simon are an 'item' and were not trying to hide it the last time they were all hanging out!!! Look into it TMZ!!!

85. She didn't forget the words on Every Breath - she was just "off". If the the person who posted this had any musical ability he/she would understand what that's like. The judges commended her for it. Even Simon said he would have done the same thing last night.
It's Seyesha's time to go home. She had ONE good night and that was because she's better suited for musical theatre - which is fine. But her time on AI is up.

86. As a vocalist, I can tell you that she did not forget the words on the first song where she was playing piano. It is quite obvious that she mistakenly started singing in the wrong key.

87. She is a no talent, talk back to the judges cry baby...can her ass................

88. She DIDN'T forget the words the first time, she was playing the piano and the timing was off. She is MUCH better than Jason Castro. Come on!! Jason's time should have been up before Michael Johns'. If anyone should go tonite, it should be Jason. And then Brooke NEXT week.

89. Here comes Star, defending David Cook again ....... big girl, time to get off the computer and wash your cooch.

Lay off Jason Castro - the subject is about Brooke!
