O.J. Simpson is looking to use his sharp fashion sense, cutting wit and killer instincts for a new purpose -- joining the cast of "The Apprentice."
TMZ spoke to sources close to the show who say Simpson approached Donald Trump's camp to voice his want for a spot on the program -- and, surprisingly, it's "under thoughtful consideration."
The show may soon be known for a different kind of backstabbing.

46. If this FARCE is actually allowed to happen, then Goldman's lawyers will be ALL OVER O.J. and The Apprentice producers, of which Trump is one. They'll attach judgments to anything he earns, wins, or otherwise, and the show will get negative press over this. Let's see how Trump would feel if one of HIS kids were killed by someone then put on a show for ratings. He'd FREAK OUT. He can't even stand losing in business to an opponent, much less the other scenario!!! Trump will be going to a new low if he puts O.J. on.

48. Well, it would certainly add an interesting element to the concept of "Celebrity Apprentice"...I mean, who really...who would you rather see on the show--Omoronosa or O.J.??? Stephen Baldwin or O.J.??? I wonder if Trump DOES decide to offer O.J. a "stab" at the show, would any of the other "celebrities" refuse to work with him??? I think it would be truly controversial--maybe a ratings boon, maybe not; however, I wouldn't argue with O.J. about it!

55. The DOWNTOWN LA Jury not only LACKED the Intelligence to assimulate the evidence, they were bias and prejudice and he only KILLED White Folks. Trump has no scruples, so aligning himself with that killer is a no-brainer, for Trump.

60. OJ Simpson is also going to be debuting in the NASCAR Modified South race at Homestead Miami Speedway in November's finale. So yes, he is trying to squeeze in as many events between now and the court trial as possible. Who would blame him, I'd be doing the same exact thing if there is a chance that my free time is limited.
