16. I met the Duchess a couple of years ago and was stunned at how pretty she is in person. She just does not photograph as well as Princess Diana, who will forever be frozen in our minds as a vibrant woman in her mid-thirties. The Duchess has been a supporter and a patron of Osteoporosis Charities for years, as her grandmother died from it. She deserves some credit.

17. No matter how the Church of England has gerrymandered the union of Charles and Camilla to be a "legit" morganatic marriage in the eyes of the Anglican Church, Prince Charles, the man, is unfit to rule his future subjects....Hopefully and mercifully, his reign will be short and the Reign of the Last King of England in William will end the Hanoverian German's hold on the UK...

20.
In a television interview, Diana stated that Charles had been involved with the Rottweiler from the start. Camilla sent Charles a pair of cufflinks with their "pet names" on them. Diana warned Camilla that she knew what was going on and to stay away from Charles. Sure Diana had affairs, but it wasn't until after she realized that her marriage was forever doomed by the Rottweiler.

How Charles and Camilla can sleep at night, knowing damned well what they did to Diana is beyond me. Also, Camilla's husband knew what was going on and was powerless to stop it. He admitted that himself. They probably paid him a lot of money to keep his mouth shut, so don't paint him as being a saint through all of this. Charles probably did him a favor by taking C off of his hands.

22. First off, this woman needs a good support bra. Those things are almost to her belly. Second, she and Charles had an affair BEFORE he dated or proposed to Diana. She gave him cufflinks with his and her initials on them that he wore on his wedding day. And I don't mean C & D but C&C. This caused an argument that very day. How sad that must have been for her. I think she was profoundly, young, shy and wanting her marriage to work. How do you work with someone who is not around and talking all the time to the "other" woman. Having an affair was wrong on Diana's part but his never ended. She was just crying out for a relationship with her husband, when that didn't work she went elsewhere.

I have no respect for either of them.

25. To cos Diana was a saint:

Your wrong about Camilla'husband being innocent in all of this, quite the contrary. Major Parker-Bowles considered it an honor that his wife was putting out for Prince Charles. In fact, Camilla helped Charles choose Diana because Camilla saw Diana as young, innocent, stupid and shy, and thought she'd give Charles and her no trouble, however, they did not test that theory by tellling Diana the truth before the wedding.

Diana became suspcious of them and wanted to call off the wedding but all of the adults, including Charles, said she was being silly. To that end Charles' staff arranged a meeting between Camilla and Diana before the wedding where Camilla lied to Diana and told her the affair had long been over, when in fact Charles and Camilla were seeing each other during Diana and Charles' engagement. Charles and Diana had a argument before the wedding day because Charles and purchased an expensive braclet for Camilla and Diana asked him not to give it to her and he did anyway.

Also what Diana didn't know, but was blurted out by Charles in one of their fights (apparently there is, or at least was, audio tape of this fight they had at Highgrove, their country home), where Charles admits to Diana that his father, Prince Phillip, told him that he only had to be faithful to Diana for five years (long enough for her to bear at least two or more children), before he could go back to Camilla. However, Charles could not last 5 days, because he frequently called Camilla even while on his honeymoon complaining that Diana, the Virgin, didn't know much about sex.

Camilla proceed in a myrid of ways of tormenting and interfering in Diana's marriage and the royals did nothing about it but let it go from bad to worse as long as Charles was happy, even though it was literally killing Diana, with Bulima and the stress of her new responsibilities, and the knowledge that she had been completely duped and used literally like a brood mare.

If it weren't for Charles and Camilla's affair, Diana would not have had need of other men as Charles informed Diana sometime after Harry was born that sex between the two of them was over. Evidently this statement was witnessed by one of the security officers, I think is name is Warf, and he wrote a book about it, and later, on tape Diana is filmed confirming this by telling her speech coach who was filming their session, that Charles did in fact tell her that he would not have sex with her again. Diana could not have been between 23 or 25 years old at the time, so now she was essentially a widow with her husband very much alive. In addition, she was expected to lie for Charles and pretend that everything was fine between them after they all duped her into the marriage.

You ask, why would they dupe Diana into marriage? Diana was not the first woman Charles had asked to marry him, and many had dumped him in the past about Camilla. One in particular was a daughter of a rich Scotsman and I believe they said she was high tempered or had a temper when Charles ignored her to dance with Camilla all night, but they werei supposedly going ot become engaged. She told Charles off and married someone else.

Anyway, Diana's bloodlines are more royal than Charles'. He is mostly of German but Diana's line comes from Stuart lines which come form the Tudor lines, which are connected to Plantagenet lines of British royality. It was important for the current royals to have such a bloodline in their family legitmize their postions as British royals. Lady Diana was the daughter of the Eighth Earl of Althorp; she young, very pretty and she came from tall stock. All these attributes the current royals lack but found in Diana. Even Prince Phillip admitted that Diana breed height and chins into the Windsor family.

This union was extremely calculated and her father was not up to the task because he somehow recovered from a stroke that should have killed him. Perhaps he beleived that the royals would take care of his youngest daughter and he could die in peace, but how wrong could a father be.

I could go on and type for hours but I hope you get the drift by now. Camilla is every crude thing many of the posters here have described and worse. Even the late Princess Margaret supposedly said during the engagement that Camilla said she wasn't giving Charles up. That was the plan.

Pray for Diana's soul, she certainly deserves prays and God's mercy.

To those who hurt Diana so much, the uinverse has her way of righting wrongs,. I don't believe all that was done to Diana will go unpunished.

28. By Charle's admission, he was having an affair w/Camilla before, during, and after his marriage. She was married, too. Then she got a divorce, Diana died, then he finally married her. They dated when they were in their 20's, he went to the Navy, she gave up and married Mr. Parker-Bowles. She was the love of his life. Prince Phillip made him join and serve in the Navy. Then Momma, Queen Elizabeth II made him marry Diana, because she had no "past", and could produce an heir and a spare. He didn't even love her.(There is no accounting for taste.) Camilla looks better, however she should give up those Camels. Bad for da bones. All I have to say to Camilla is, "Neigh!"

29. Obviously, T. Archie knows the WHOLE story, and I defer to him, completely. He really seems to know his English royal history. I did read that Windsor is a name that Elizabeth's family made up , and that they were from Co-Saxeburg Gotha, in Germany. They wanted to sound more English. Diana was young and was certainly taken advantage of. Archie T.-you da man !

30. I fell sad for all these people. Think about it Price Charles has been groomed to become a King since he was a small boy and yet he is pushing 60 years old and has not inherited the throne, it's like getting ready for the prom but not being able to attend. His mother acquired the throne when she was a young woman of 25 years or so and has said she will rule to the day she dies - which may be a long time since the Queen Mother lived into her 90's. Prince Charles and his second wife may have a very short reign. Perhaps the royal family will have better luck with Prince William.
