51. I totally agree with #33 Dottie. Dr. Phil is a great guy who has helped countless people and the media has put such a poor spin on everything. By the way, anyone that watches the show knows hes been using polygraph regularly since way before that stupid reality show came out. I think too many people here can't handle his kind of straightforward truth. And if you think about it - mostly what he speaks is just common sense from a different point of view. He's a very intelligent man who happens to hold a Ph.D by the way.

53. First off how can a TABLOID condemn Dr. Phil for exploition when everything you print or air is exploited some how! (dont get me wrong im a HUGE fan of tmz and dr phil) But at least he DOES try to help the people he exploits and secondly he is not the first to use these questionably methods to gain raiting! Oprah cries raitings go up, montel yells and gets mad and so on they all do it! And thirdly it is not dr phils fault that we live in a socity that loves watching people fall apart on national tv! 56. Um, he has used a lie detector test before, actually quite often. Also, I know that celebrity life is sooooo important and those who (uh hem) report it are invaluable, but Dr. Phil also has an important role of brining light to situations that most people don't want to talk about. Unfortunately things like this happen in families more often than we would like to admit. His show, as dramatic and over the top you may think it is, actuall makes people look out for this behavior and maybe face that it is a reality in their life. Someone sitting on a couch just giving a lecture wouldn't make people do that.

don't want to see his show, just don't tune in. I personally like Dr Phil and gain a lot of insight into different

60. I thought it was a sad but good show. He was there to bring attention as to why the child was being hyper sexual and was able to control the guest. He is a good man that HAS to keep up the ratings on his show. Just like TMZ and all other shows do. This is bringing awareness to the people about different subjects.
