21. Whatever their reason, its nice to see celebrities fly commercial rather than private jets...the environment folks! Earth Day was just Tuesday, did we all forget? Flying in a private jet does more than four times the carbon emission damage to the environment than flying a regular commercial airline....

25. Kanye and Pharrell are in Tucson for their concert this evening at the University of Arizona. It's at McKale Center, the basketball arena where the Wildcats play.

Good for them for flying Southwest. I fly the same airline between Tucson and Los Angeles all the time, and I fly it for the same reasons Kanye and Pharrell did: convenience. It's an easy, 70 minute flight. Plus they have six of them everyday, and it's not expensive, so what's not to like.

I've seen other celebrities on those flights. Both Miraval and Canyon Ranch are located here, so celebrities come to town all the time.

Have a great concert tonight.

What the hell does anyone need a private jet for anyway?? I completely agree w/ wastin. Smart and ecomonical move on their part.

27. Good for him. I'm sick of vulgar displays of wealth from celebs. I flew Southwest every other month for about five years and my flight was late only twice. They ain't so bad.

29. True, we're not used to seeing big name, flashy celebs in budget seats... but really, what is the big deal? It's like a 90 minute flight! Not everyone needs to THROW THEIR MONEY AWAY to look "cool." I think it's more cool to be smart about money. When they go to NY from LA they probably get the better seats, but why spend $2500 in a 90 minute flight? It's stupid. Therefore- these are SMART guys who will never go broke because they're not financial morons.
