NBC to O.J. -- Like You, We're a Buzzkill

O.J. SimpsonDonald Trump might be thinking about taking a stab at bringing O.J. Simpson in for the next season of "Celebrity Apprentice," but NBC wants nothing to do with it. Can you blame 'em?

A source close to the Peacock tells TMZ that NBC has not -- and never was -- considering casting O.J. on the show.

Looks like instead of "You're fired!" the Juice will just have to settle for "You're guilty!"

31. In response to # 22 - Frankie, dude.... you obviously are assured of O.J.'s guilt by your post... yet you tell everyone to cut him some slack. Question - if it was your Mother, Sister, or Brother, Father that was mutiliated by this guy, I doubt you would be as forgiving as you ask all of us to be. It's got nothing to do with white or black, it's got to do with knowing what's wrong and right... You can get pissed off at an ex-wife, but you don't slice her throat. And you don't attack an innocent guy because he shows up with a pair of glasses (but in O.J.'s case, he had to or there would have been a witness). DOES EVERYONE FORGET ABOUT THE 'IF I DID IT..' book? What innocent person in their right mind would try and get a book published like that if they had nothing to do with the crime. People amaze me... I hope this jackass pays for this for the rest of his life by being belittled in public. It's the only time he'll serve for it. SO PUBLIC... serve it up!!

32. I'd be more afraid of it was a cooking show. We all know what he does when he gets around some knives.

37. I used to look up to Donald Trump. But if he is THAT GREEDY, to wamma make money off a killer, Then I WILL NEVER WATCH ANY SHOW WITH HIM. I WOULD NEVER GO TO ANY OF HIS CASINOS, HOTELS AND SO FORTH.

To try and make money off of a KILLER, is as sick as OJ. I hope NBC will NEVER let that happen.

And YES he is a killer. I don't care what the jury said. It would take a fool not to see the truth.

Thanks

38. 1. Whose to say OJ would even be available for The Apprentice show? Doesn't he have a few charges waiting for him to go to trial in Las Vegas?
2. Who would even appear on the show if he was to be one of the participants? Can you imagine when Trump splits the people into teams - who would be a team player with him? He's a parriaha (sic).
3. NBC has the final say, they pay the salaries of the contestants. Everyone has their lowball limit. For any broadcast station that would be OJ unless it's a jail house interview.
4. D. Trump has proven the point that money can't buy you class or dignity. He's a self-grandinizing blow hard. For all the money he claims to have he always seems to have financial difficulties. Does he even still own/run the Atlanta casino? I thought the bank took it back.
5. I think D. Trump is an insecure narcissitc patho. Anyone that feels the need to constantly tell everyone how important, successful and wealthy they are is trying too hard to convince himself much less anyone else. I'll bet he even yells out his own name when he has sex.
6. Trump is no better than the old time sideshow barkers. 'Step right up and see the two headed chicken, the hairy woman and the double murdering former celeb.' Anything for attention. Nothing is too base or shallow.

39. O.J has a right to make a living,he was found "not guilty of the crime that he was accused of.Well, the 3 police officers who killed that young man in Queens NY are going back to patrolling our streets, they might wack another of our young, they were not even reckless for firing their weapon to an unarmed person 51 times,a shot went a nearby apartment another one to the train station that could have killed someone else.Well... that isn't reckless
