Wesley Snipes won't be getting a Nicole Richie special in the big house: TMZ has learned that Prisoner 57 -- or whatever number he gets -- will have to do two-and-a-half years hard time (out of the three he was sentenced to). And that's only if he's a really good prisoner.
Federal inmates can't get parole, so Wes will be in for at least, by our calculation, 930 days.

110. I think that this sentence is bull. It is common knowledge that long prison sentences are NOT a deterrent to others, nor are they going to facilitate any sort of rehabilitation. This sentence is a WASTE of tax dollars, unless they are going to add the housing bill to Wesley's tax bill. If he can't work, how is he going to pay us back? No matter what any idiot says on this or any other board, the government doesn't have any money of its own. All "government money" is OUR money, the taxpayer's. Yes, he didn't pay taxes as he is legally bound to. (The constitution is not the end of all Law.) If you earn money is the U.S., you pay tax in the U.S. like it or not. However, this crime should be dealt with through a supervised release program. There are plenty of Violent offenders who have been sentenced to less time than this. 113. What does that mean: There is no law that says you must pay your taxes? We have tax laws dumb asses that say everyone must pay a percentage of their income to the government. Quit trying to educate yourself on TMZ and myspace, twits. Go to school. I can't stand the pompous judges out there consumed with power, and so high on a celebrity case that they want to make "examples" of people. I'd like to see the arrogant, all powerful judges that try to make EXAMPLES of celebrities lose their jobs. It should be against the law to punish someone simple to make an EXAMPLE of them.
