Blake Decision Cut in Half, But What's it Matter?

Robert BlakeAn appeals court upheld the verdict that Robert Blake was liable for his wife's death back in 2001 -- but cut the jury award in half. Let's hope those "Baretta" DVDs sell big this Christmas!

The original ruling was for $30 mil -- but the appeals court knocked that down to $15 million (which will be about $24 mil with interest). Seriously though -- like Robert Blake has that kind of scratch!

Blake was liable for Bonny Lee Bakley's death back in 2005, after he was acquitted of criminal charges.

17. You people do understand that Robert Blake's wife was no innocent victim, like Nicole Simpson, right? She was a con Artist, who stole, lied and cheated hundreds of people out of money (including Robert Blake). While I agree he, most likely, murdered her. There are many others who had motive to off her, as well..........
I hope her 'family' never collects a cent!

21. That's California Justice when it comes to Hollywood celebrities.

Unfortunately California looks at Justice differently then the rest of the country.

22. I really don't think Blake is guilty. His wife was a low-life skank scammer who had all kinds of enemies. Anyone could have done it. I would not compare him to OJ (who is definately guilty).

23. It's so very interesting..... there was absolutely no doubt in the OJ case all the evidence was there.... Roberts case was full of doubt there was no evidence... same verdict... not guilty, the only thing here is Robert Blake is living the life of an innocent man... where as OJ is living the life of a guilty man. And everyone knows it!

25. Bakely's family doesn't deserve a dime. That woman scammed and used men her whole life. Could have been a number of men (including Christian Brando), who had a reason to want her dead. That's why they couldn't prove Blake's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Blakely is lucky that her daughter that she tricked Blake into fathering, is now being raised by his daughter. The rest of her family were all cons and connivers, who knew what Blakely was up to all along and just wanted to profit from her death in the end.
