What in the name of Foggy Bottom is going on in Washington, D.C. this week? First it was Shakira, then Amber Tamblyn ... and now Pam Anderson is down on Capitol Hill on behalf of PETA. Don't they have any hot chicks in the nation's capital?

Pam was down at the Department of Health and Human Services to hand-deliver a PETA science report on outdated animal tests performed by the U.S. government.

Memo to D.C. -- if Shauna Sand makes it to the Hill, you can just keep her.

48. The PETA organization is filled with nothing but hypocrites that are hungry for attention. They'll do anything to get publicity for their "cause," but have no qualms about killing tens of thousands of animals a year. PETA is not comprised of animal lovers, it is comprised of narcissists that use the animal rights agenda in order to feel better about themselves. There's nothing I hate more than a hypocrite, and PETA is rife with them.

49. Although I can see why it's important to test various drugs, chemicals, cosmetics and so on before humans use them, I don't agree with testing them on innocent animals.

I would prefer that we test all that on criminals locked up in jails. That way we can know in advance what the reactions will be before non-criminals use the items, that way innocent animals won't be harmed in any way, and best of all the criminals will actually contribute something positive for once in their miserable, stupid, lawbreaking lives!!

Don't harm animals. Harm criminals instead.

The people that are posting nasty comments about animals are not good people to begin with , PETA is about humane treatment toward animals more than I feel about people eating them, I have a friend who owns a farm , she treats her animasl ethically and humanely and kills them ethically and humanely , I am a vegan always have been was raised that way, I am not against my friend becasue she does show excellent treatment while raising her animals for food, but at the end of it all there is only one person you have to answer to for being cruel to animals and children........ Personally I dont want to piss him off.

As a matter of fact she, like most celebrities, negates or weakens their "cause of the moment". I'm sick of celebrities latching on to such important issues and using them as self-promotion vehicles. These over-paid, over-promoted and under-educated media whores need to entertain.... and nothing else.
