D.C. to L.A. -- Brother, Can You Spare a Babe?

Pam AndersonWhat in the name of Foggy Bottom is going on in Washington, D.C. this week? First it was Shakira, then Amber Tamblyn ... and now Pam Anderson is down on Capitol Hill on behalf of PETA. Don't they have any hot chicks in the nation's capital?

Pam was down at the Department of Health and Human Services to hand-deliver a PETA science report on outdated animal tests performed by the U.S. government.

Memo to D.C. -- if Shauna Sand makes it to the Hill, you can just keep her.

77. And... how does Ms. Anderson believe clinical trials are performed for FDA approval of various cosmetic enhancement products?

78.
This woman of this caliber actually has a negative effect on the
cause, simply because of what she is herself. Intelligent people do
not take her seriously and somebody like her would obviously not have
the capacity for compassion like this. It's a cold hard fact... most
celebrities are too self absorbed to actually be able to feel for
anybody or anything but themselves. This is a PR stunt, and nothing
more. Look at the picture again. That tight shirt stretched over
those grotesque breasts, that bleached out over-processed hair...the
whole package says "desparate attempt for publicity". It's nothing
more. She hurts the cause, just like Tom Cruise has done
irrepairable damage to the image of Scientology.

80. I wonder if she is as concerned about her two boys as she is for the animals 'cause her decisions in motherhood certainly have been 'questionable...."

81. Anyone who thinks that picture of that animal or any other harm to an animal needs to have the same thing done to them. Just like Michael Vick. He needs to be shocked, hung and drownded, revived and repeat. Animals are just that. Animals. No one has the right to hurt them or harm any other human being. Obviously some of you idiots are just freaking sick. One day, when you are 90 and in a wheel chair, and some thug beats the crap out of you and steals your last 3 dollars for drugs, you may just think back and go, If only I had treated others as I would have liked to be treated.... at that point, I'm yelling: GO THUG.

I am no PLA fan but I respect and support ANYONE who steps up and speaks for those who cannot.

83. What a HYPOCRITE... Didn't she just have an abortion not too long ago??? If only she were as outraged at the killing of innocent HUMAN beings as she is at harming poor animals. I'm for protecting BOTH.

86. It seems like they get celebs to help out because it attracts the attention of the public & she knows how to do just that. This is not the first time she has stood up for animal rights. Why do they even test on rabbits? They should test on the criminals & prison inmates, that would make those of thinking about doing a crime think twice. A rabbit does not make tears like humans, why pour a product in his eyes, pour it in a criminals, then the test will really show what the effects are. Think about it, do your research.

87. Can anyone say, "desperately seeking ATTENTION" ? If she is behind a TRUE cause, then GREAT. BUT: I find it frightfully ironic that she is as far from NATURAL -no-animal teasting as it gets. Her processed hair, breast augmentations, tattoos, acrylic nails, cosmetics and over all FAKE look make it extremely hard to take this cause serious. I am surprised that there is not a moral clause for those wanting to publicly support PeTA because after all are ye not judged by who you surround yourself with? I mean hey, let's face it, it's not like PLAYBOY magazine is out trying to find or help missing and exploited children....McDonald's is not offering free exercise classes after an all night binge on the $1 menu. If groups and charities really want to be taken serious, FIRST look at the people who take THEM serious. I do not believe in animal testing of any sort, I think it is inhumane. If I were going to support a cause or begin a NEW cause, I would SERIOUSLY take a LONG look at the Celebs wanting to jump on the band wagon and back it up, are they in it because of a guilty conscience, do they need lime-light again, what is it? I'd LOVE to know what all the celebs have really done for the causes and groups that they so proudly support. Sure, a few can say they saw an article about this or that, but, what have they really done? Last time I checked, Pam is the epitomey of everything opposite that she says she stands for. I say to her: Dearie, go home, take care of your boys and knock the crap off. Go GREEN at home and move it into your life outside of your fantasy world. Desperate people do desperate things, I feel she saw Heather Locklear, Denise Richards and Jennifer Aniston getting some press and she felt like the grandma left out. oh---boooo-hoo!

88. Thank you xyz! I am so sick of hearing about this dim bulb. She believes eating meat promotes violence. Everything she is promotes violence and disrespect toward women. Also, whatever she ingests, injects, or inhales promotes violence by fostering the drug trade and prostitution. (or is she that fidgety and stupid all by herself?) Lets not forget the chemicals that enter her body during these processes. Please, shut the F up, Pamela. Take your fake ass back to Vegas where people want to hear from you. Don't forget to wear your furry, feathery outfits and hats for show.
Someone get me a piece of organically raised chicken!

89. It annoys me so much when I see Pam supporting PETA. She is such a fake! When I worked at a restaurant in Malibu, she would come in and her sons would order food like, eggs benedict. Eggs, ham, and she would sit and watch. Ugh!

90. speaking of blood, Pamela, why not support the ending of bloodborne and other communicable diseases? Now that's something you may know a thing or three about.
