If you guys care so much about the Armenian Genocide why didnt you cover System of a Down going to washington and confronting Speaker Hastert? Or any of their genocide awareness concerts?

Cher is Armenian also, she doesnt go to rallies, I think out of respect they dont want to make a scene.

25. I'm Armenian-American from NYC, theres rallies all over the world in every city to commemorate the Armenian Genocide, There was a rally here in NYC, I did not attend, not everybody does. I put flowers on my grandparents grave who survived and payed my respect and then went on with my day smiling like Kim.

Its ones own business how they choose to spend April 24th and maybe she feels its very personal.

29. Have you ever noticed the more of a "Fake American" someone is
the more they care about their ancestry? No, I do not mean religion. Hispanics celebrate
Cinco de Mayo and I bet 90% of them think it was about independence
from Spain. I am not picking on Hispanics, but they are just an example.
My ancestors are Limey (English) and Kraut (German) and I could care less.
I have no interest in wearing lederhosen or making blood pudding, etc.
Also, some people say "We must keep doing this it is tradition" WTF
My ancestors spent hours hunting and then building and cooking over a fire. Me, I go
to the store and cook over an electric stove. My ancestors lived in a cave. Me,
I live in a place made of wood with central air. A Kick Ass people adopt things that
work better and drop those things which are more labor, resource or time consuming.
Anyway: sorry for the rant, but I have to go practice flint knapping

She is half Armenian anyway and I wish her father had taken the IAN out and she would be Kardash wich is a turkish word and would be a Turk
To 12 the restaurant is Zankou
To 15 all Armenian's have Ian at the end of their last name .
April 24 is a very importan day for the Armenian population, it is the rememberanc of one and a half million Armenian killed by turks to exterminate the Armenians , yet they deny that it ever happened .
We the survivors we have to do everything possible at least that day to have our voice heard and hopefully one day justice will be served .
