the Armenian genocide did happen. Look it up! There are photos, books, letters from nurses in Turkey who wrote back to America explaining what was happeing to the Armenians. Henry Morgenthau, the U.S. Amabssdaor to Ottoman Turkey even wrote a letter to President Wilson about the killings of innocent Armenians. There are also several interviews of surviors.

I'm not a Kim K fan and whatever is left of my glacial heart goes out to the victims of the Armenian genocide; having said that I'm not sure that those who've milked such a tragedy for all that it's worth and seem to have conned themselves into thinking every Turk on the face of the planet falling over in tears and endlessly professing how sorry they are for events they didn't participate in haven't ultimately disgraced the memory of those murdered. Somehow, it seems the victims would be far more honored to know that this didn't keep Armenians as a whole from going on to live happy, fruitful lives. Even if you don't like the young woman in question or her father, it would be erroneous to deny that they exemplify such a reality.
