Will Smith's New Movie Unloads 7lbs of B.S.

TMZ caught up with a woman who lives in the neighborhood where the new Will Smith movie "Seven Pounds" is being filmed, and she is totally P.O.'d at how the movie is taking over her street.

This woman claims she has to deal with construction early in the morning, portable bathrooms in the street, and crew members lighting up cigarettes outside her front door.

She's so frustrated, she has resorted to putting wacky signs in her yard -- risking the title of the neighborhood crazy lady. She really must be be desperate for help!

16. Yes this woman has lived in the neighborhood for over 25 years, but describing her as "warm and helpful" is utter hogwash. She has fought with almost every neighbor on the block! As for the couple who rent out their home- why should they be any different - there are at least 4 people who run businesses out of their home in that neighborhood- including that crabby old lady. At least the film crew has a permit. Get over it. Take the money and go on vacation for the few weeks that they are there.

17. Smart lady. A sign guarantees the film makers have to shoot around her house. One would think you TMZ
people would understand that...

Then again...

19. I bet they never turn Will Smith's or his scientologist buddy Tom Cruise's neighborhoods into disruptive movie sets.

20. This woman is not crazy at all! She has every right to be pissed off at all this filming on our block! The same person uses her house for every film shoot 6 or 7 times a year! She obviously doesn't have to deal with all the chaos that happens while filming as she is loving every minute of her Five Star Hotel getaway! Her signs are truly justified! Next time people write things about someone, maybe you should actually meet or know the person first?!
Will Smith did personally come over and apologize to her. A very nice man indeed! The rest of you who are posting stupid comments on this message board are stupid and should get a life! Especially those who live on the block where they are filming! Obviously none of you have been living there as long as her! Get a life!!

21. How dare you people say such rude things about this woman. She has every right to be really upset about the intrusion on her personal life. The agreement that the neighbors signed from the production company was misleading and they have already broken the agreement by going over the shooting time and number of evening shoots. The thing that has always been so special about this neighborhood is that is family oriented and peaceful. It's the woman who continually rents her house out to film companies that needs to be told off by the neighborhood.... and stop signing those production agreements!

22. The lady has a point. You have to agree with her about the inconveniences she has to put up just because some neighbour wants to earn some extra income. These film guys think they're big shots and they rule the street when they are here.

I have personally encountered these guys and they refuse to allow me my right to use a camera on the street. I was not even interfering with their set in any way, standing by the side, not obstructing and simply snapping pictures in the dark without using flash. Yet they pull a big guy up on a small lady like me and tell us off about photography. They have no right! This street is public. My camera is personal and I can take photos of whatever i want on this public street!

If they think I am interfering, take a look at themselves, interfering the residents of this street in the first place! If they're so afraid of us taking pictures of Will Smith, then why don't they go shoot their film in their big studio. No one will be able to infiltrate their studio that way. TSK!

23.
You go Dresden!

How would you like a Film Company to have the right to intrude in your life and have no say in the matter, especially when they are filming right next store to you.

How would you feel if you could not sleep at night because …… bright lights intrude in your house at 2:00 am, and loud sounds and people are talking outside your bedroom window, keeping you up all night?

How would you feel if toilets were put in front of your house and your friends could not visit because the streets are closed down?

You do not see this in wealthy neighborhoods were neighbors have the influence to say no!

Dresden is standing up for her rights and of being taken advantage of. Campaigns calling her crazy are led by people who are getting big bucks for allowing the filming in their homes and do not care about their neighbors. SHAME ON THEM FOR BEING SO GREEDY AND SELFISH!

24. I don't blame her fo being upset .. you are entitled to the "quiet enjoyment of lfe" in your own home! and having brigt lights and noise in the middle of the night is definite intrusion. I'm livng next to a condo building under reconstruction with so much noise I have to leave my home... so I sympathize with her situation!! Can't they shoot on studio lots instead of the streets! especially when it happens often on the same street!!

25. My butt would be parked in my front yard and then they would not have a choice but to move their crap down the block. I don't blame her because she has lived at that residence a lot longer than Mr Willy Smith has been alive. Give her and her neighbors a break and film your sorry movies in your own neighborhood or is your mansion's to good to have the trash and portable toilets in front of your own houses!

26. If you want to talk about paying property taxes and city taxes, then does the woman who rents out her house to the filming agencies not pay property and city taxes, too? She has as much right to rent out her house to make extra money as the other woman has to be upset about it.

It was very respectable for Will Smith to apologize to this woman personally. You want to say things like "film your sorry movies in your own neighborhood or is your mansion's to good to have the trash and portable toilets in front of your own houses" (By the way, I tried very hard to disregard the horrible grammar and spelling in this post.) but you don't think that maybe Will Smith doesn't decide where to film these movies. It's not his fault - place blame where it belongs.

The film guys are just doing their job. If indeed they have broken their agreement, I do think that is unacecptable. However, complaining about everything else that they do is silly. It's what they are getting paid to do - what if someone came to your job and harassed you about doing what you're supposed to do because it gets on their nerves?

Calling someone "greedy" or "selfish" for getting paid isn't fair. Most of you would take the money if it was you, or would take money for something worse than renting out your house, so put yourself in other people's shoes before you judge them. Also, for those of you that live in the neighborhood - if you are so aggravated with what's going on then do something about it! Putting a sign in your yard or complaining on TMZ while you sit on your ass isn't getting those guys off your street.
