Last Night's Bon Jovi Concert Was the Bomb!

Bon JoviFans at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Fl. were evacuated from last night's Bon Jovi concert because of a bomb threat. Don't worry -- Tico Torres and company are just fine.

Several bomb-sniffing dogs were sent in after police received a phone call threatening to blow up the arena with two bombs. After determining the
threat was a hoax, fans were let back in at 9:30 for the show.

The state of New Jersey can rest easy.

31. I went to see Neil Young once in Chicago and Dave Matthews happened to open up for him...I'm sorry but I thought I was going to fall asleep during those long instrumental solos that were going on----all this fiddling, and acoustic guitar stuff, and the people in the crowd were all dancing---but not real dancing, but that grateful dead non dancing kind of movements---it was weird and freaky and not uplifting, soulful, or even fun. It was as if he was playing to people who had drunk too much wine and just either were passing out or doing that grateful dead non dance movement.

I'm sorry but it was boring with a capital B...than I saw him solo at Farm Aid 2 years ago, and that was even worse...surest cure for insomnia I have ever experienced. I'm not trying to be negative, just honest, that he just doesnt touch everyone the same way...some apparently love him, others, he puts to sleep. I happen to be one of the sleepy ones. Neil Young and Crazy Horse rocked the place like no tommorrow...the weird thing though, many Matthews fans got up and left after seeing him...at least the ones who hadnt passed out from too much wine and pot.

Oh well...it didnt help his image that trip either when his bus driver dumped the buses lavatory remains in the chicago river hitting a bunch of boaters underneath the bridge...a very bad PR move.

someone hit the snooze alarm

32. hey 26 he was talking about energy...jumping around = energy, and in bon jovi's case they are great entertainers
and Bon Jovi are amongst the best entertainners ever. that would explain why their concerts have been sold out p;retty much everywhere in the world theyve been. it certainly isnt cause of their music, i have many friends who cant listen to a bon jovi song but always want to go see them live based on their performance.

# 28, i'm sorry Dave was boring for you, i guess its not the type of music you'll be into if you dont already know. when i saw them, i'd say people were half asleep for about 1

33. sorry accidentally hit enter....so yeah, most people were half asleep until towards the end once they played two step and ants marching. that show is a good example of people not knowing the songs and being bored, the band played about 8 songs on an album that wasnt released yet so people were like WTF?
but with bon jovi, you dont really need to know the songs, its more of a let lose stop thinking and have fun kind of concert

34. I've been a Bon Jovi fan since day one and always will be. I've seen them several times and will be going again for their final show in July. Every show I have been to the band gives 150%, they are full of energy and have never dissappointed me. Wheather or not some one in the band has problems, it's a part of life and that's no reason why Richie shouldn't be in the band.

They are all very talented and they have been able to maintain their popularity over alot of years... He is not sitting there on stage with a guitar belting out sleepy tunes... Its a concert worth seeing!

39. I was killing time before I leave work and I was thinking the same exact thing! Except I couldn't believe I just wasted 2 minutes of my life reading comments about a show/tour that should have stopped back in 1993! Get a life folks - seriously!! Jon Bon Jovi?????????

40. Kick Richie out of the band? You have got to be kidding me? First of all, problems aside, he is one of the most talented guitar players I have ever seen. Next, the band members are all friends, that is the way they have stayed together for 25 plus years. So? would you just kick out one of your friends? BonJovi is by far the best band I have ever seen. And if you are not a fan why do you have to make comments on this site. Rock on Bon Jovi.
