I also wondered why the US government has NOT looked more closely into $cientology.

I have come to the conclusion that it has been put in the too hard basket.
If it was investigated, $cientology would scream blue murder about freedom of religion.
And of course $cientology has an exclusive, sealed deal with the IRS, and to delve into $cientology would be like opening a can of worms. Not sure the government really wants to face this one.

$cientology has become expert in playing dirty through litigation and would stop at nothing to defend itself.
But the tide is turning in public opinion of $cientology.
The more everyday people take an interest in spreading the FACTUAL information that already exists about $cientology, the sooner it will be dismissed as a cult by all.

Remember $cientology has wealth in the hundreds of millions.
It won't go down without a fight.
But power of the people and freedom of information on the internet will be it's eventual undoing.

92. If Katie and Tom split up I guess there's another mom the kids can kiss good-bye to since she would no longer would be appropriate....interesting what they would decide about Suri in that case. The kids are likely happy as can be in their Scientology world as it's all they know and they probably have lots of friends in this strange but "normal to them" world they live in. it is very cult like when you think of it. I'm sure Nicole is digusted by the whole thing and I suspect Tom dumped her because she refused to get drawn into that whole weird world. Some of the comments here are just too bizarre. Connor Tom's bio-child? Come on! lol

To Judy- So because the fruitcake has been married 3 times he should be respected? Kind to others? He wants to destroy any and all psychiatrists and ridicules any woman who takes medication for PPD. He deserves everything he's getting now, it should have happened years ago.

96. Judy, how does being married 3 times, irregardless of how beautiful his wives were, make Cruise a good man? If he had been married to the same woman for 20 years or more, then I might consider that an accomplishment, but two failed marriages is not. Yes, he has adopted two children and had one of his own. How is this an accomplishment? He was successful in his field but he hasn't done anything lately. What evidence do you have that he is kind to others? I remember reading once that he stopped to help someone who had been in a car accident. That was nice of him but nothing unusual.
There are many reasons why we attack him, all connected to the fact that he belongs to the cult, scientology. If he belonged and did not preach, I would leave him alone but he preaches against medical and psychological intervention in cases where it is necessary. People have died because they believed him. Who knows what might happen if some woman who suffers from PPD listened to him and not to her doctor. We could have another Andrea Yates on our hands. If he stuck to talking about things he actually knows I would have less problem with him (although I will always have a problem with scientology) but he insists on speaking stupidly about things he doesn't understand. This is why I attack him every chance I get and why I take every opportunity to explain the truth about scientology.

98. Just looking at these kids - they are both much better looking then the average person. I can't imagine this egomaniac adopting an ugly kid. It makes me wonder if he had some say in their genetic makeup. When you have more money than God, you can play God....

100. I believe that because Nicole does not believe in Scientology, she has almost been cut out of her children's lives. The church does not want non-believers influencing the Scientology kids, they might undo the brainwashing these kids are subjected to. Just google scientology and see for yourself the evil of this cult.

103. TMZ - You goofed. You said that "Tom took Nicole Kidman's kids...." but they are THEIR kids, or his kids, but not hers. They live with him and only visit their mom once or twice a year and they don't even call her Mom, they call her Nicole!! If you're going to report scoop, at least keep your facts straight.
