46. Yeah, even if Papa Spears manages to drag Britney, kicking and screaming, to the hearing, I agree that there is no way that she'll end up with anything better than joint custody.

The courts prefer that kids be able to see both parents, and however much of a screw-up K-Fed might be, Britney is much worse.

54. They shared joint custody before, but Britney had PHYSICAL custody. Now that Kevin has PHYSICAL custody is why Britney has to pay HIM CHILD SUPPORT. 57. To DJ: would you care to make a bet? I'll wager that Britney won't do better than Joint Physical Custody (i.e., 50% of the time at each parent's home). Actually, she'll be lucky to get even that much.

Currently, Britney is under a conservatorship because of mental problems. I don't believe that any judge would give her Full Physical Custody until she is shown to be responsible enough to care for her children, which means that she first has to show that she can care for herself. As long as the conservatorship continues, it will be almost impossible for her to demonstrate that.

Mental issues are not "curable" but rather "manageable", should the person diagnosed with the problem CHOOSE to continue whatever therapy (pharmaceutical or otherwise) prescribed by his or her physician. Problem is, many who suffer the type of problems she has had tend to self-medicate. They get better, so they stop taking meds, or change their meds, without doctor's input. Next thing you know, they're off the deep end again. She won't be under a conservatorship forever, and she won't have her parents so closely involved in her life. K-Fed has said he wants Brit involved, and he's backed it up with visits. Right now those boys are safe and in a stable environment. Leave well enough alone.

Well, someone is posting with the name I usually post with. That's OK. Posting names are NOT unique.

As for me, I don't think Britney will get any custody at this time. I think she will only get visitation that is monitored for at least another six months. The thing is, that the public really doesn't know what went on with her standoff in January, but the court really does know. My feelings are that since two ambulances were called to her house, - that she must have made threats to injure herself and Jayden.

It has only been three months since she has been under the conservatorship. It's good that she is trying to get her life together, and is now keeping DAYLIGHT hours, like the rest of the world. Maybe things will workout for her in the long run. Her sons are just toddlers. They actually need a regular routine to their lives to develop into normal children.

Unlike the other DIANE T, I would never speak harshly of Kevin Federline. I think he has done well by them, and obviously the court agrees with me, since he has physical custody of them.

It would be a good idea if she shows up for court on May 5th. Maybe she will.
