i'm sure some of the members of the TMZ staff couldn't probably stand to loose a few punds, as well. don't you think?

2. Aretha has all the appearance of Type 2 Diabetes candidate, if she doesnt have it already...and if she does, and continues to remain that large for this long, my goodness, we should be saying our good byes to her soon. Amputation is also a possibility if she doesnt change her living habits. God Bless her but God Help her.
Cant her handlers or family members or even beloved Fans help her?

3. OMG...... Do you mean these people are actually "NORMAL" like the rest of us? How odd that they could actually gain weight like human people.... say it isn't so?

10. TMZ knock it off! Aretha's weight has been up and down her entire life and SO WHAT? Our only conversation in regard to what she looks like should be about her health and that is it!!! The previous poster is right....if she does not get help...she is going to die an early death...and that would be really sad! She is a True and Gifted Legend!

12. Meh. Considering her contributions to music and her accomplishments, who cares what she looks like?! It isn't like she's seeking to do a Playboy nude spread.
The only thing is, she's at a very unhealthy weight.

15. Hell, TMZ! I'll bet if we take a picture from anyone on your staff a few years back and did a "look at me now", the pictures would be similar to the celebs. We're not immune to it, it's going to happen to all of us unless we have a built in cental-lipo-suction unit at home and a diet that consists only of "smelling of peanut butter" and drinking some fluids. Some people age gracefully, some do not. It's life baby!
